Siv feels a shake.. Fiona vulnerablity but she uses troll power to... hold it "Piper, please, come with us. It's not the same without you"

Her tone clipped. "I don't much feel like partying right now."

"Fine. I'll text Sylvi and let her know we can't make it" Jonas pulls out his phone

Siv is surprised to find out IRKED jonas sounds. He's normally more stoic than either of them

"Then -I'm- going out!"

"FINE, YOU go to the damned party. I'll be here" Jonas says "I LIKE staying in. I'm the boring one" Drily

Siv looks back and forth "Now me loves... let's not.. "

"Can you manage it without giving away our apartment before I get home?!"

"How can I? We ALL signed hte lease" mmph

Siv rubs her forehead "Okay okay. Piper you head out. I'll join you in a few"

Her chin wobbles just a tiny bit, but she grabs the bikini she had out (it's the polka dot one, by the way) and the door is whammed shut behind her.

Jonas storms to his room "i'm going to read"

After Brekke leaves the discussion with Jonas, she goes directly to the Barn, looking for Dagmar. She comes bearing a very fancy-looking dreamcatcher.

Dagmar is upstairs in her room. She should be getting ready, but she seems to be working at her desk.

The doorbell rings, likely setting off a flurry of barking inside the house.

CJ yells "DOBEL!"

"Yes, yes, thank you, son" Tove opens the door "Oh, CHief, please, come in"

"Tove, hello." Brekke enters and looks around. "Forgive me for being abrupt, but I need to speak with Dagmar. Is she still here? I know there is a party planned among the wilders."

"She is still upstairs. I think she's going to a lake party soon" A hopeful look as she says it "But go on up. " A lower voice "She's been troubled"

"Yes. I know something of it," she answers quietly. "Thank you." Up she goes.

"Mo-om, I'm almost ready, just... gotta finish something."

Brekke knocks on her door. "It is me."

A scramble and rustle of paper, and Dag is on her feet.

"Sorry, Chief."

Brekke shakes her head. "No apology necessary. I have something, something that I believe will help May."

Brow?

She offers over the dreamcatcher. "It is Jonas's, and it must be returned to him at a future time, but he has agreed that we may borrow it for the purpose of helping her."

"It is a treasure," she explains. "It allows mortals to have peaceful sleep, free of nightmares."

A pause, then her eyes widen.

"Oh! Which means we can deal with the pills."

Brekke sees the understanding take hold, and nods.

"Exactly. This is the safety net."

"It can't hurt, I don't think. I hope."

"It will need to be retrieved from her. That will be easiest if her recovery can be effected before the end of summer."

Grimace.

Nod.

"You can deliver it to her." It might be a question, but it sounds like a statement.

"I... will figure that out."

"I don't think we're at a place I can just give it to her. Not anymore."

"Perhaps. But find an opportunity, an opening, as soon as possible."

"I might be able to sneak it in, worst case."

Brekke looks tempted to offer further suggestions, but then thinks better of it and simply nods.
