Frank's encounter with EBG and CC may have been unsettling. The satyress seemed stubborn about sharing more than it involved family. Best he could tell, she was telling the truth but he's no Gwydion. Besides, he has to focus on his own work. The haul has been long.

It has. But, necessary and productive.

He is on the return trip, even this isn't wasted as he picked up something else to take back to Jersey.

And yet, things are seldom simple for a changeling...

He's been driving with his new cargo for a few hours, when he feels a flicker of glamour behind him. IN the Dawntreader

He gages the time till his next schedule stop, either rest break or unload.

He had planned a rest stop in a half hour . Near a Buck-ees, which doesn't take truckers, so joy of joys, the place near that does serve truckers isn't nearly as crowded

That will do,then, unless the situation becomes urgent.

The glamour doesn't seem to grow wild or anything...

so yes, it can wait

Then it shall, and in 30 minutes (give or take), Frank pulls over for scheduled rest.

The place is looking downright roomy, no idiots in sports cars trying to park in trucking spaces because they want 'more room' for their babies. No confused vans that took the wrong spot. Oh, there are a few non truckers, but mostly it's truckers truckers and more truckers here

He takes care of his log and other business in the cab, and as he does, looks for the Glamour again.

Yup. It's back there, with the cargo...what ever 'it' is

Frank steps down from the cab and does his walk-round, and then back to the cargo doors. He opens them (tire-tapper in his boot) with methodical precision, and looks inside.

One of the crates bumps a bit, more glamour.

When he opens the crate, he finds the china set.

Dishes! Delicate and fine, well padded, of course, but no wonder it says fragile on the side of the crate. Each dish, each piece, is a glow with equally delicate glamour. Maybe being in HIS truck woke it up?

Perhaps so. He checks the invoice and paperwork. Where is this load headed?

Not far from Rivervale, looks like it's going to some auction?

He locks the back up and heads in to the truck stop for a meal and a pit stop. And perhaps a phone call.

Into the truck stop he goes.

The boggan lady serving the diner smiles "Hello, Frank. Thanks for still coming here. We can use the business."

"Sure thing, Selma. Thanks for being here and welcoming me. The usual?"

"Same as it ever was" She assures with a smile that his favorite on the menu has not been tinkered with

OOC Still AFKish back and forth....

IC "Thanks." he takes a seat and takes out his wee little phone, dialing the Lodge with the speed dial.

Olgar picks up "Yeah?" his usual grace

A small grunt. "It's Frank. Brekke there?"

"Nope." Olgar says "How's it going, Frank?"

"Fine. Kerri there?"

"Nope. We had a nice trip to the mall though. "

"Anything I can do for you, Frank?" Olgar asks

"Need one of the triad. Vali?"

"He's at his house, but I got his number if you want it?"

OOC Ok, back now for a good stretch

"I have it, thanks. I'll call him. Everything ok there?"

"Ahh, some of the trainees have some hurdles, but we're getting there. "

"Good to hear. Look forward to hearing more when I get back. I'll call Vali."

"See you later"

and he hangs up

when Frank calls Vali, Vali answers promptly "Hello, Frank."

"Hello, Vali." Frank responds "I'm on a rest break. Wanted to call in. I have an interested load on this run. Going to auction not far from home. You might be interested in it. Or Kerri. Or -for- Kerri."

"Huh. Got a real shine to it?"

"Seems to."

"As far as I can see."

"Mmm want me to be there at the drop off to give it a look? "
