"The Menagerie Exotica?" Baron Kealan pulls out some files. Brekke is at Teaneck, paying a visit. He offers the file over, "This is what I have on them. Sounds like Sir Vali has much the same details."

Brekke accepts the papers and looks them over. Any new info?

Indeed, a bit more updated in who is who. Apparently the current 'Manager' is a grump Clurichaun named Madame Invidia. All clurichauns collect. She traps chimera for her collection. She is not alone. Apparently she got new muscle, a Redcap overseer named Brux Overbite and, a she troll named Kandell. They were last seen ... mmm they might be heading to the Netural area of Rutgers

A frown. "Rutgers."

"Do you know if any of them have a House affiliation?

"An area that has no noble to keep the peace, and allow freedom of the mind" He says "And none of them that we know of, BUT some do sell to nobles. sadly not just of Unseelie nature. A Gwydion lady, some time ago, was caught purchasing a phoenix trapped in glass... she was foiled by two Beaumayn, Dame Ashlyn, and her Squire, one Vali the Stealthy. The Menagerie Exotica itself got away"

A brow. "Vali the Stealthy? That was some time ago, then."

"Yes, Parliment of Jazz. I suspect Sir Vali remembers them unfondly" Dramatic understatement

"You would be correct. Hmm. There are no chimera noted as missing in your barony?"

"There could be," He admits "I spy on my fellow kithain more than I do chimera, but none I've noticed yet."

"I would not expect you to, but if a well-loved one had gone missing, you may have heard of it." A thoughtful nod.

"Sir Vali is alerting the wilders there."

"I will make sure they get the rest of this information."

"If I learn of any missing chimera on my side, I will let you know. However, " A troubled look "I fear I can't afford, at this time, to contribute a lot of my resources to tracking this Menagerie down. I've ...other priorities"

A brow. "Understandable, but now I am curious."

A rallying smile, "Let's just say a certain secret society is acting up, and I've had to put some of my best people on making sure they find things frustrating."

A blink. "Do they present an immediate threat to my lands?"

"They're a threat to the County itself" he says, smile fading a bit, "But I don't believe Rivervale is an immediate target"

She nods. "I trust you will inform me if it becomes one, and if there is any aid I can offer your efforts."

"I appreciate that" He says with a nod "But I've got some of my top agents on it"

"I do not mean to suggest that you are in need of Rivervale's aid. But it is offered."

"Chief" He says , "No offense was taken, and... sometimes aid has come from Rivervale when you didn't even know it"

"I shouldn't say that part, but I consider you a friend, and one I respect"

A brow. "As I consider you a friend, I will not pry." A hint of amusement.

"I must return."

A nod "And I need to check on some more reports. " He escorts her out "But I will keeep an eye on things. Safe travels, Chieftain. Happy Imbolc when it comes"

"And to you. May Teaneck's torch arrive without incident." And she departs.
