He huffs a breath out. "Well then. Nothing for it but to wait her imminent release, and then we act."

"And the odd jobs at the hold" She nods

"Yes."

"Sorry, dear"

She takes a hand

"Hardly your fault, Dearest." he says without blame or rancor.

"I know but well" A huff "It was kind of fun tooling around in the RV a bit at least"

A small smile. "Yes. Not your first time, I trust?"

"Not really, but those weren't happy times " She admits "it was running from others to keep my son. Oh he was a joy to me, but you can't ever quite forget being stalked and worrying your helpless"

"True." moodily.

"Oh, don't worry. I learned my strength over time. Former prey make the best huntresses"

"As well I know." he lifts her hand and kisses her knuckles.

She smiles "Don't worry, darling. Soon this will all be over"

"One way or the other." dourly.

She sighs unsure what else to say to help

"Mmph." he pats her hand again "Nevermind, Dearest. Satyrs are not the only ones with black moods."

"And your feelings are genuine .. I just wish I could do more"

"Bah. Let me wallow." but he smiles at her.

"You've the right to it" She pats him playfully "Wallow away, love. I can't do anything about it now, but I can promise you a wonderful time when it's all over. We'll shed these outfits and yours truly will be dolled up in that tight little red dress you like"

"Mmmm...." he purrs "And attitude to match, of course."

"Oh attitude I have" A purr

"Well. That give me something to look forward to." he says with great understatement.

"Good"

Of course, soon they are resting up for the next day's work

"Shall we stay in the RV or head into the motel?"

"RV is more secure but tighter. we may have that eshu return at some point"

"We could take a walk, order a cab, and sleep elsewhere entirely. Bring what's important with us from the RV."

"mmm might break character"

"Can't have that, not now."

"Then either here or the motel we had it has to be"

"Well. Your choice then."

"RV" SHe nods

He nods, and puts the vehicle 'to bed' - puts up the shades to shield from eyes outside and draws the blackout curtains, checks the level of the RV (they're balanced well), and arranges things for a cool RV to sleep in.

Wards are placed and renewed.

Yes, that too. Soon they're cuddled in the RV's bed; an upgraded mattress, of course, and top-rate sheets and pillows.
