"You sure?" She whispers

He shrugs; as sure as he can be.

She looks up and mouths "should we get a gun and shoot up?"

Her William has a gun in his hand and a knife in his belt. He points to his ears, shaking his head in the negative; too noisy, he'll avoid that if he can.

A nod, thenshe casts a veil on herself

and starts to open the door

He scowls and motions her to take the gun.

She takes it. Then goes up

He waits, fidgeting, and then edges closer to the driver's seat to be ready. For what, he's not sure.

She pops back in "It's the damned Eshu again"

"And she didn't follow my effigy so... she's seeking you?"

"Crap."

"Any idea why?"

"I am not sure. The only othereshu I've seen here is a childling"

"Related?"

"Oh my goodness, you're right"

"There we are. What is she doing creeping around our roof?" he whispers.

"Not sure. We could..ask her?"

"Mmph. Invite her into the motel? I don't want her in here and I suspect the motel tub has seen blood stains before."

"I suspect you're right" she sighs "On my way"

"I'll join you by and by." he promises softly.

She nods and slips up
