He feels much more relaxeed after all that... and a nap

She stirs and strokes him "Hey."

"Mm."

"Better?" Gentle

"Mmmmm...." sleepy, loggy; he rarely allows himself to go this far with his guard down "Mm-hm." in the affirmative.

"We're safe" She assures

He pulls her close, snuggling.

And she snuggles back, stroking him gently. If she was hoping to get him moving , she seems reluctant

He chuckles, still dozy "Again?" amused.

"I'm trying whehter to tell you you don't want to be late for your new job"

He groans. "Right.... right." And sits up. And goes pale.

A low, laughing groan.

"Darling?" A brow lift

She checks him out again

(Can roll for Medicine skill if you insist)

He flexes and shifts, stiff and sore. "No, no, no... just.... age and exertion are a horrible combination."

"Oh you're still plenty tough, but I am sorry. I meant to relax you, ease your muscles. " A curious tilt and she puts her ear against his heart

She hears him rumble again with amusement "Oh, you eased me, Dearest, you did."

"MM if your ticker goes a mission I'll be cross" She warns , hearing his heart beat regular

She helps him rise gently

"As will I." dryly "Come now, a hot shower and I'll be right as rain." he assures her, and limp-staggers to the bathroom.

And he gets his hot shower

Well, in this place, it might be tepid BUT it's something. And he stretches a little bit, too. Then dries and dresses and takes a few more aspirin before coming to face Callidora.

She has a quick breakfast made for him. Nothing too fancy or too feast, more like Cecily would make

Instant oat meal as like as not, given the motel. He eats it up, though.

"Thank you." he says humble into the bowl.

"You're welcome" A nod "Guess I best make my job application while you do yours"

"Let's be away, then." and to the RV!

They hop in and drive like the wind!

A speed limit respecting wind

That, and it's an old RV....

BUT! They arrive and park and walk up.

They have to go through the servants area, of course. He gets right in, but they eye 'Cecily'

Abner looks nervous about this.

"Are you the woman suggested for the child care provider?"

Cecily gulps and looks to Abner, then back and says "Y- ...yes"

"She is, Steward." he assures the troll "Miss Cecily."

"Mm, follow me. " Then a look to him "As for you, resume with the same duties as yesterday"

"Yes, Steward." he casts a glance at Cecily, and limps off.

He finds Josephine waving to him "Here, sir. I'll show you where to go"

"Thank you so much Miss." he shuffles over to her.

"Oh shucks" SHe smiles "We're both staff"

"I certainly hope so. It's much warmer.... here."

"Oh yes" She nods sharing a knowing look "I sometimes cross where the balefire is just to feel it. It's so warm"

"And... and no one minds that?"

"Well, don't linger"

"No, no no no of course not."

She says then winks and lets him follow, they move through a great hall
