"Shelly Dupew" she says "He's a guy... but with a name like that I admit I got confused. "

"And he and his partner got prepped earlier and are already taking it from the Public Defender"

"Mmm. And his partner's name?"

She blushes "Michelle. Again, you see why I got confused?"

"Indeed. Are they business partners or lovers?" mild curiousity.

"Or both?"

A wink "They try to hide the latter. But yes, both"

"More power to them." he nods. "They will contact you with updates?"

"They'll contact Victoria" She assures 'And if you want a peek at her calls I can arrange that"

"Oh, I like the way you tell stories."

"Oh I know Victoria, so proper, so decent... more wholesome than you... but .." A wink "She's got skeletons in her closet that would make a sailor blush"

"Oo, I would like to hear more..... tell me, do these lawyers have similar bones?"

"Oh they do a lot of good, but it wouldnt be fun for me if I dndt know their back story and a few secrets"

"Wonderful."

And he fills her in on his day at the Freehold.

She listens intently "A troll steward? Interesting. He sounds a bit pompous, yet the staff under him... warmer?"

"Mmm. I'm thinking now, with linens and laundry.... did the lawyers give you a timeline?"

"THey hope to get things really going as soon as 3 days but suspect a stall attempt if the judge is too polital on a local level"

"Mmm...." he nods slowly "Something slow acting, wtih a catalyst. "Nettles, perhaps..." his eye goes distant "Hm. Transcutanious causing intestinal .... Hm."

"Two or three part?" Curious

"I wonder if I could get some Exelon.... Hm? Not sure, depends on what I can put my hands on."

"Sources here might be limited" She nods "But if anyone could.. it would be you"

He chuckles and pats her hand "I'll think on it tonight and take action tomorrow. Does Cecily have any interested in watching the dear little waifs at the Lord's manor?"

"Oh yes, that IS an option" Amused "I think so.... and if a few young ones get directed to stories where questioning authority pays off?

"MMm.... mind our cover, Dearest. I cherish the idea of course but... careful is best. I doubt we shall be back here once we have May Maude safely away."

"Oh yes," A sigh "Oh well . I'll be good. Yes I think Cecily would feel 'safe' around childlings"

"And you'll be close at hand should the need arise."

"Even if it's only a diversion" A smile "Cecily isn't the sort to flirt lightly, she'd still be cautious... at least with men and sidhe. But she might play bashfully bi if that serves your needs?"

"Mmm.... tell you what. Why don't you focus on this Jinky or Jiggy fellow with access to his Lord's robes?"

"A fellow satyr? Oh yes, that would work... with caution"

"Always with caution, Dearest. You have to keep your persona -and- still make inroads with him."

"Yes, Cecily needs to be a bit broken" A nod "Platonic seductions between satyrs can be delightfully challenging"

"It will give you something to keep you busy." he says with a smirk. "Will you be able to do that and mind Victoria's business at the same time?"

"Oh yes, very different schedules will be arranged"

"Mmm. I wonder if they have a public library in the area."

"Oh they do" She nods "Nothing fancy"

"Still, better than nothing. Should we take this lumbring beast, or shall I walk?"

"Lumbering beast? " Amused "oh why not? Folks spying will 'know' we're a couple so why not do what a couple would and be togther? While keeping our 'home away from home' close?"

"And enjoying the simple pleasures of the free local library. We'll check out something misleading."

"How about a book on Birdwatching? THat always gives you an excuse to be out and about gawking openly"

"Excellent! Fresh air, out in nature... capital."

"And you can even carry binoculars" A smile

"Fancy that." He leans over for a kiss, and then gets into the driver's seat.

And off they go

At the library, Abner shuffles in and wanders a bit, getting a feel for the lay out and where things are. He picks up some books on birdwatching, and some more esoteric works on herb.
