White wigs are scattered, costume exterirors are shed! As a stampede of pooka, satyrs, and more scatter ending the contest abruptly

Mutters of apologies can be heard in the hallways

She watches their retreat imperiously. When they have vanished, she nods in satisfaction, then turns to Hume.

Hume takes a gavel, and hammers it "the winner for the Zara look alike contest remains the often immitated but never duplicated Miss Zara herself, truly one of a kind and a valued member of our society. "

Then he bows to the Baroness after making that motion

That breaks her anger and charms her, and Hume receives a grateful smile. "Well said, Lord Hume. Now, how on earth did they get you involved in this?"

A piece of popcorn is dropped from above, bouncing off of Hume's head.

Hume blinks at that, then says "Well, I don't know. Baron August and I were talking.. and then suddenly, there was this contest about us. He ..withdrew, furious I think, but in a very cool collected way and I was left behind. Next thing I knew they gave me a gavel"

Coradel notes it and looks up.

Hume also looks up

A wee spider is perched above!

Coradel, still looking up, replies, "Yes, the Baron's ire is not of Fiona. Instead of fire, it burns like ice."

"Well, that shouldn't surprise anyone" He means the spider, not the ire, but both work

Then a grin and a nod to the spider. "I hope your mistress is not too hurt by these events."

Then Hume looks down, "Ah, Baroness?"

"Mm?

Little legs wave!

Well, somebody certainly has a report...

At the Baroness' feet, passed out, is a skunk. It would appear the jester was at ground zero of Coradel's ire, and fainted!

She looks down, sighs, and picks up the stunned creature, draping him over her shoulders as a stole. "Pardon, Hume. I will bring a certain contest promoter to the healer."

"Emma may have been contestant six... which is weird, as she isn't the one who fainted. I'll ah, have some folks clean up here Baroness"

"Thank you. Perhaps we can think of some better use for those wigs." She turns and heads for the infirmary, still wearing her fetching black and white stole.

Hume wipes his brow as she leaves. Even a fellow sidhe can feel the fall out, and he is glad he was singled out for sparing

A look back up at the spider "This is not my fault, please report that"

An enigmatic pedipalp waggle, and she skitters off

A sigh

And meanwhile, at the infirmary...

A stunned Shallimar is gently removed from stole dom onto a cot

Coradel doesn't spare any words, but simply leaves him there. He will need to seek her out when he recovers.
