She's still upset, Siv can tell, but she's handling it!

Siv gives a glare at him anyway, then..suddenly relaizes soemthing and focuses on hugging her from the side and says "It'll be okay, babe"

"Good, because I'm all about the gifts" A smile from him

Piper finally lets go, leaving an unfortunate damp spot on Mickey's chest from her face. "Christmas, and your birthday, and Father's Day... you're gonna have to hear from me, so get used to it." She promises.

A weak smile "Ah, mmm guess that means you should expect a birthday puppy from me"

Siv shakes her head "She's ah.. not big on critters"

"Not a fan of cats myself, murder mittens give me the creeps" He shrugs

"Right? Their little wicked hooks!"

Realizing they have something else in common!

She laughs, brightening up a little.

"And what is with the boxes? You know who else sleeps in boxes? VAMPIRES.... "

Siv shakes her head "Poor Mackerel, so unappreciated"

"Vam.... vampires! Who are also immortal, maybe that thing about nine lives..."

"oh we're onto something here... bet they don't like garlic" He considers "Catnip yes, garlic no"

"Cats are not vampires" siv says

"Some of them wear tuxedos, like Bela Lugosi"

"AND they roam around at night..."

"And their eyes glow' he nods

"You two are so mean... Mackerel is an angel"

"No, Mackerel is a fish."

"AND he catches mice and bugs." A little shudder there. "Mic - that's the cat at my freehold - he only tries to hang himself on speaker cable on the regular."

"We should get back to check on Dagmar. Siv... did you want to stay here until the Narwhal is out of repairs? I'll stick around with you if you do. The Baroness here is actually very nice, for a you-know-what."

"she's a liberarian?' the pooka asks

Piper's phone bleeps. A text!

"Maybe I can have dinner with Mickey again, off panel that is, and just catch up a bit."

A laugh. "She might be, but even -I- know better to ask about that in court." She tells Mickey.

Then, checks her phone.

"Excuse me..." Knowing its a bit rude.

Txt: Apparently, there is a Ceremony tonight

Txt: Oh? Cool! What for? Did you want to stick around?

"Dagmar says there's a ceremony tonight!"

TXT: Is it semi-formal and you can wear your armor if it's cleaned, or we can go shopping for something...

TXT: For all I know swimsuit lady has fancy outfits done up already
