Piper and Siv are heading up to the 4th floor of the Days Inn in Virginia Beach... "Room 404, Mickey said."

"....Mr. Boyd? I'm not sure what I should call him." She admits.

"HOw about Mickey, you're both adults" Siv suggests

"You're annoying when you're sensible like that." She says fondly, and knocks on the door.

A dozen voices chirp up, a Star Trek voice "Yellow Alert, Yellow Alert", then "Somebody's Knocking" ala terri gibs then robin williams "Get yourself together" and the door opens and there's Mickey, wearing a Hawainn shirt and cargo shorts

A raised brow, and then she smiles. "Hoping it's still okay to stop by?"

"No, it is not okay, merely awesome" He grins and sees Siv "Your friend shrunk"

Siv sighs "that was Dagmar. I'm Siv"

"No, no, this isn't- Mickey, please meet Lady Captain Siv, Knight of the Fiona, the Seven Seas, and Captain of my Heart."

Mickey's eyes light up, and his hand goes out "Oh hello, please don't mind my mouth, I say the stupidest thing. Sometimes folks pay me to do that sometimes they cough and look for an exit. I just met Piper last week and am no so practiced."

Blink blink, and she glances to Siv.

Siv smiles and takes the hand.. a buzz sound goes out, not from the hand but the mouth but Siv starts then laughs

"Okay, you're good. That sounded like a machine" Siv admits "Or a joy buzzer"

A sean connery impersonaltion "I am shaken and a little stirred, do forgive"

Siv grins "I do. , "Then she looks to Piper "I think he's saying he's nervous his pooka talk will confuse or offend me but he's happy to meet your girlfriend"

She smiles. "I'm sorry if I'm a bit nervous. I've never met a parent before." A grin at her own weak joke. "The ones I have, I've known all my life, or as long as I can remember. "

"HEy you kids want to come in, or go out? We stay here the door will slap me in the butt, it's fresh" Mickey says

"What do you say, Piper, inside or we take Mickey out for a meal?" SIv says "My treat if you want"

"We can go out or stay in, however Mickey's more comfortable.

"oh I eat like a bird either way.." Mickey shrugs

"let's go out, but some place quiet so we can talk, what do you say, Mickey?" Siv offers taking charge as she notices BOTH Mickey and Piper are nervous.

Mickey.. nods?

"That sounds good. A coffee shop, maybe?"

And Siv smiles "Let's go then" and somehow, both Mickey and Piper are being dragged in Siv's wake "I saw a coffee shop nearby that should work"

"She's like this..." Piper says over to Mickey, not complaining.

Stalking the Bean may not win awards for decore, the furniture is wooden and a bit dinged, and the servers aren't that pretty, but the coffee is good and our trio finds themselves left alone in the corner with a fern acting as their guardian

Piper got a sweetened iced tea for herself, and insisted on buying the other drinks.

As they settle into their table, she says, "I... I have so many questions, I just don't know where to start."

"42?" Mickey answers

"Oh! Sure...." She pulls out a notebook from her backpack, and flips a few pages. "Question Number 42... that one was pretty far down the list, but... what's your favorite popcorn topping?"

A grin, " I like my audiances to butter me up"

She looks at the first page, nibbles her lip a little, then goes back to where she was. "Uh, what do you do for fun? That is, outside of singing, I know that already..."

"The older I get , the more a really good night's sleep wows me" Mickey says, true or not hard to say "I had a friend who tried to get me to go golfing, but I figured I could sleep standing up with a stick in my hand anytime. I do like sky diving " He flaps his wings

"You can fly?" Amazed!

"Like the majestic brick, but.. if you clothes your eyes I swoop away and leave you will the bill while I wear my bill" he winks

"Oh... oh. Well, that's still really cool, though." She smiles, playing with the spine of her notepad.

"Oh so you fly, just not in that suit" Siv says

"Would you fly in a Hawaiin shirt?" the man says "Talk about a target"

"Do you have any other kids? I know, that's personal, but... just wondering if I have sibs out there."

He stops, looking as he got hit by a windshield, then he says "I'm flying solo" is the lie that he's solo? or that he's flying?

Or is he managing the truth with effort?

She reaches over and lightly touches Mickey's hand, reassuring. "Well, not any more, not if you don't want to..."
