Frank enters the Lodge and looks for Kassidy.

Kassidy finds him "Hello Sir"

"Kassidy. Since you'll be staying here, we should get you a regular room. You'll need to meet some others, and I need to contact some people to help you."

She nods "I have all the papers here" She shows tthe folder "Did you want to see them, Sir?"

"Yes please." he takes the folder to flip through "Let's get you a room."

The door opens "She'll be staying in my room, Dad. " Siv comes in "Hello, Squire Kassidy, I'm Lady Captain Siv Waveborne"

The squire bows , surprised

Frank looks over, also surprised.

"Hello, Lady Captain" She replies finally

"She might like her own room, Siv."

"Da, I've favor to ask you, and it's terribly selfish but I hope you'll agree I'm ready?" Siv starts

"You're my daughter, Siv, you know I'll do whatever I can for you."

"Then, I would like to be Squire Kassidy's knight. I feel I am mature enough, and ready. I am no Liam, true, but I trained partly under one at Earth Runes in addition to what I learned from you. Besides, it is not uncommon for A knight and squire to have differing houses. I am older than Dame Dagmar, who has a fine squire, and think I'm ready for the responsibility. She can use my room here since I mostly sleep at the apartments. She'll be quartered here, then I'll show her the ropes."

Squire Kassidy is a sidhe, not easily ruffled, but her jaw does drop open a bit

"you.. want me for your squire?" Squire Cassidy manages

Frank blinks.

"Course," Siv looks at her, "I've more time opened up, and few tasks here. I once had training myself, this is my chance to pay it forward, and yes, there is some status in having a squire, not my main reason but I'd be flattered by it"

"But I'm.. I'm a Liam... it might. hurt your reputation?" The squire looks at FRANK apologetically as she says this to his daughter

"I'm a Fiona, we already have our reputations, rightly or wrongly, cemented. My father is a Liam, and one of the finest men I know, and truth, He is a greater knight than I, but I think I would still be worthy. I hope you both agree" Siv declares with an elegant head bob

Frank rubs at the base of his horns. "How long have you wanted a squire, Siv?"

"Since training at Earth Runes. There are some excellent squires there annd I saw for myself the pride a knight could take inn them and how helpful they can be, and, in return, how a good knight can help them find their own paths. I was waiting until I was ready, and I think I am nnow" She says

"And you think Kassedy is the right squire for you? You just met."

"And Kassedy, how do you feel about it?"

"I've seen her once or twice at the Court of Caer Falken. And I know her as well as you do , dad. We'll get to know each other in time, she and i." Siv shrugs

"i've never had anyone ASK for me before, Sir," the little girl admits

He strokes his beard. "Mmm."

"Well, " Kassidy thinks about it "You did say you had to truck a lot? Would this make it easier for you, Sir Franklyn?"

"I was going to go back to work, yes." Frank shrugs "You would get a more consistent experience with Siv. That is, she'd be here."

"If you are both in agreement........"

"I travel too some, Squire, but I travel on a magic ship that crosses seas in a blink. Less Paperwork and I'll be able to ake you with me when I do. Teach you about rigging"

Kassidy's eyes grow wide "That sounds cool.." then she adds "Ah, Lady Knight"

Siv smiles at that, "Well, you're not afraid of the sea" She looks at her dad "I think we're in agreement"

He looks at Kassedy to see....?

"We are " Kassidy confirms " IF it won't make Sir Frannklyn look or feel bad? I wonn' have another Liam mocked for my sake"

A stubborn look to the little girl's eyes at that notionn

"Aww.. " A look from Siv "She's a good kid"

"I... do not object, if it is what you both want."

He still seems puzzled by it all, though.

"What do you say, then, Squire" She offers a hand "We give it a go?"

The squire looks surprised then smiles and takes the Fiona's hand "You won't regret it"

Kassedy might not recognize it, but Siv might; Frank has an air of quiet relief.

If Siv does, she gives no sign of it, "Ah, let me clear a few ..adult things out of my room upstairs, then it'll be ready for you. Get yourself a drink out of the fridge"

"thank you, can I get you a drink too?" the squirre offers

"Well, if you don't mind, then a coffee for dad if he likes, and a sprite for me" Siv nods and heads upstairs

"I'm fine, thank you." he declines.

"I'll, I'll walk you back downstairs." and they head backdown.

the squire nods and follows. Then goes to the fridge

Frank takes the folder to his desk to look through, and then will squeeze into the phone closet to call Anne Marie, and then Carowyn.

Anne Marie is happy to help, with the information already ready, it will be in her words ..a cake walk

"Mm. Hopefully you'll meet her soon."
