"Well...which parts still need actors?"

"Got a barbershop quartet in your pocket?" Sully looks hopeful

"Oh. Uh...." She looks to Zane. "I mean...if you want to...?"

"I don't.. " Zane sighs "I feel bad not being able to commit but i don't even know what part of the country I'll be moving to"

Sylvi blinks. "Wait...moving? I thought..." She pauses then looks back to Sully. "I'll keep an ear open, Sully."

"No problem, everyone take five point five" Sully says.. then walks with her (And Zane) "We have some renfair homeless dropping by. I hope to nail their hooves to the floor"

"He means a trago," she explains to Zane. "They're putting on a renfair here, and he's hoping to rope them into the show, too."

"Cool" Zane says "Props... I wish you luck, Sully"

"I'll take your wish and shine it up with elbow grease" the pooka says and hands a paper to Sylvi

Looks like someone else wrote up how they're doing roughly in NON Pooka

Actually a lot of it looks promising!

She looks it over and nods. "Good stuff. We'll have to recruit costumers as soon as we know exactly who will be playing what. And Sully, if it comes right down to it, maybe a little gender-bending would work? Even if it's just women made up to look like guys for the roles, not changing the character gender."

"I suppose we could, if needs coem to it, get a Beautyshop Quartet" He admits

the paper indicates some folks will be playing double parts

She bites her lip. "Mm. Casting's already tight." A sigh. "Well...keep on plugging away. I'll try to recruit, too."

Zane ponders then.. "I.. might know someone"

Sully looks at the satyr "Please tell me this isn't your 'extremely talented step daughter and the old lady will make your life hell if you don't get her the lead?"

"Who do you have in mind, Zane?"

"More than one.. one's a long stretch but's he's a natural ham and might love a chance... Vince, he's this lion pooka from Earth Runes? He might act prima donna but that would be just for fun. If you want, he'd probably make a good anvil salesman or even just the guy who says 'for a horse, yeah" , the other options are some of our Valer friends. Jimmy and Eden. Jimmy blends in, so.. he's a walking extra, put him in one suit as a sales man in the train scene, then a town parent in another. Then there's Eden, yes another pooka, but ... I think she can do it"

"Well...yes..." she sound dubious. "But again, none of them are local. And this isn't just a one-night show. I've thought about some folks from out of town, but I'm reluctant to get them involved in something that's, like you said, a bit of a commitment far from home."

Sully looks at Zane "the stage might be home for some. You know the old song, Amazing stage, how sweet the scene, that starred a wretch like me, some of the lines I lost, but was wired for sound, which subbed for artistry"

Zane gives SUlly a look, then looks to Sylvi "Vulture huh? He's pecking at my remains here. Yeah, that's true. Locals are better. Sorry, was just an idea"

"No, it might be a good idea. Especially since we're in a bind. And...if you're not sure where you're going to end up, that means you might not be in a hurry to get there....?" she says hopefully. "Might be able to spend a few weeks with us?" A nudge and a winning smile.

She takes the script from Sully's hands and gently prods Zane's ribs with it.

Zane eyes her, then takes the script "Well, it might give me an excuse to tell your mother"

Sully grins "Relax kid, it's like falling off a bike that's fallen off a cliff ... if nothing else, a terrific view"

"My mother...?" Confused, then she shakes her head. "Go give Sully a reading. Don't keep him too long, Sully."

It takes about ten minutes

Zane comes out "I froze" He sighs "I think maybe I need to learn who I am before I try to play someone else"

Sylvi tries to hide her surprise. "Well... sure, that makes sense. C'mon, let me show you the house."

She leads him back to the car. "I appreciate you trying, though."

"Yeah, that's me" his mood somewhat soured "I try. And leave folks still in trouble at best"

She drives quietly for a few minutes. "This isn't really about the Mountain, is it? I mean...it's not mostly about him?"

"It's actually mostly about him... two thirds.. "

"And the rest is about Adam."

"Yeah I guess.. I thought my failure for Adam was a fluke.. now I know it's not. And I wasn't the pilalr of the mountain at Earth RUnes, or trusted. So... while he was my friend, the level of screwing up wasn't as much on me. Rivervale? Totally was"

She drives quietly for a bit.

"No chance that it has nothing to do with you, huh?"

"You sound like your mom" A sigh "She called me vain too"

"Vain?"

"Well, not sure that was her exact wording. She suggested that I was puffing up my own importance in events"

"Well....?"

"I didn't like the suggestion then either" He says dryly "What do you want me to say? I should accept I'm utterly unimportant in this world. It matters not whether I fuck up or no? I realize Da'an will have it's way, and sometimes intruding makes things worse, but I'm not crazy about the idea of being a complete non factor either"

"I kinda think there's a whole lot of middle ground in between those, y'know."

They pull into the driveway of the house. It's a bit out of the way, but a nice little piece of property and a cute house plunked onto it. A fair amount of yard seems to be beyond the house isn't visible from the road.

"I know, but I... " He looks at the house "Wow. Okay this looks bigger tahn I Thought it'd be"

"Right? Yeah, it was a lot more than I was expecting. I thought there'd be a little hole-in-the-wall spot I could maintain for visitors....and then BOOM, big house, property, Nadeen, Nadeen's lady's maid...."

"Of COURSE she has a lady's maid" A soft laugh escapes him, seeming to lift his spirits just a bit "Oh Nadeen, for all the troll influence she complains about, she's still so very sidhe." As they pull up, a bark greets them. The one from Pyschka, Nadeens Russian Bear Dog

"Oh, that's Pyschka's bark, and if Pyschka's here, that means Nadeen's home." She gets out of the car.

"Be nice to see her again,:" He sighs and comes out
