And he sees Dagmar tackling a man with a gun, which will protect others, but not her!

He looks lightning-fast at the touch, on guard, but then he sees the fight and focuses on that.

He rushes forward to engage the man with the gun.

Dagmar is not foolish, but her focus is on keeping tthe man out o f the hospital room, not defending herself. Frank is suddenly there, and his focus is a bit more Dagmar leaning...

..... which means disarming the man, or imobilizing him. Descretely.

Dag's "plan" seems to be take him down and pin him. It will certainly slow him down, but no... she has not considered that the gun might be a threat to her.

Dagmar starts to pin... the gun goes off...

and Frank is there divertingg the shot, so what would have hit dagmar in the chest grazes his shoulder

And NOW the gunman is pinned

Meanwhile, Symon is attempting to slide down inside the OR unseen... maybe just a long tongue from the vent.. to click the deadbolt on the door normally left unlocked for ease of access.

She jams her forearm against the gunman's throat, a brutal, crushing pin as she kneels on his chest.

click Symon is successful

Growl.

So is Dagmar!

Frank puts a hand on the assailant's chest as well, holding him. "Get out, quick. Escheat."

"I got him."

The mortal is confused.. did a teenage girl and some stranger just take him out?

She backs her arm off his throat, breathing raggedly - it's not from exertion, not really. "He... Dad... gotta..."

"Later. Go. Cops are coming. Docs have your dad."

She swallows. Nods.

Frank secures the gun.

He looks at Dagmar. "Not far. I'll call."

"I broke my phone."

"Bathroom." he instructs her to hide nearby, listening for footsteps alerted by the gunshot.

She swallows and nods again before retreating for the nearby bathroom.

And a bit of glamour falls on the departinggg dagmar, veillingg her on top of her bathroom antics

security comes in. Point of fact, silencers don't actually SILENCE that much. That nonsense only works in TV and movies, not the hard hitting real world of practical living , faeries, medical bills, and vampires

Symon is conflicted... but stays where he is, smashed into a shadowy corner of the OR. He can, and does, monitor the surgery... not that he can help...

Frank holds the guy down as long as he can, and murmurs "Who sent you and why."

Damn his dad is good. Bullets cleared out. Heart somehow back in one piece

"I ..don't remember" the man says says confused

In the bathroom, Dagmar backs against the wall. Waiting. Trying to listen.

Good. He knew he would.

"What the hell is going on here?" The confused security guy asks, he has a nnight stick

"Gun." Frank says, sliding the offending weapon away from him on the floor. "This guy had it. I'm hit. Shoulder." And Frank manages to show his hands while kneeling on the assassin to keep him down.

"Shit" the guard calls on a communicator "We've got an injured man here, who caugght some asshole with a gun. I need police on this one"

And Dr. Lee opens the door, and looks over Frank, the gunman, the security guard... and the gun on the floor . He recognizes Frank's mortal side, they've met. And he clearly is surprised, but then says "I'll take it from here, bob."

In the distraction, Symon checks out the invalid patient. How's his glamour level... and slips him a bit if he seems low.

He could use it... and so Symon gives him a bit.

Bob says "Are you.. but this is..."

"I've got it, Bob." The surgeon repeats

"Hello, doc. All the same to you, we need this guy in custody." Frank doesnt move.

Bob nods "Well, okay. Police are on their way..."

"Of course, I meant the rest" the doctor motionsn his help through.. anaestisia.. ano sti.. the knock out gas guy, the nurses, and technicians "I mean our friend here"

And the police come in, grabbing the would be kiler, collecting the gun and somehow Dr. Lee pulls Frank aside "Good thing you were here to check on your brother. Glad I contacted you" Dr. Lee says loud enouh for the cops to hear

Symon hears his father lie so smoothly it almost makes him... proud? yeah, proud. He sees where he gets it now.

Daggmar hears all this from the bathroom. Dr. Lee is acting like he invited people!

He hides a smirk behind his chart.

She folds her arms, waiting. Cops are still there.
