"Just so..and, the sidhe had some problems with modern tech at first, but they aren't idiots. They can learn to use guns too."

"Didn't the commoners have any magic the Sidhe didn't know?"

"Not really that I.. no" He says "Arcadia is the center of the Dreaming, aand some would say thus the heart of magic. The sidhe were fresh returned from it"

"So whoever was closer to the source was more powerful."

"You know, the Baron would have loved this line of conversation. Oh he wouldn't have told you all you wnated to know, but this is the sort of the thing he'd find fasicinating"

"Magically, at least. And if they were ready, the Sidhe could just magic through the guns."

Adam looks up "He would have? Eiluned are good at magic, right?"

"they also love secrets"

Sip.

"So I bet... I mean, if I were guessing... they have magical secrets? And maybe secret magic?"

A curious lift of brow "Who's asking?" then a grin "Kid. I don't know. I never figured out the Baron's secres enirely and I was the closest thing he had to a friend"

"Sorry Mr. Jack. Just.... never thought about this stuff before. Thanks for listening. And for the info."

"Hey, you're welcome. These are good questions. Some Fiona are FINE magicians or scholars, take a look at Sir Magnus. And some Eiluned actually prefer the sword, no shame in either. Kith and House are more reserves to draw on than straight jackets"

"I'm -not- a fine magician. I'm ok with a sword, getting better.... but I guess there's something to be said for distance weapons."

"You wanting a chimerical pistol or something?"

"Do they make those?"

"Oh sure! I mean, we don't like mortal deaths. Not crazy about Chimeric ones either but out of the two... I've seen Nocker Blunderblusses, Dougal Flintlocks, hell, guns are part of dreams too though they got a bad rep for some"

"Sidhe guns?"

"Oh sure, though Dougals have a lot of Nockers among them as far as commoner kiths go"

"I don't know that many Dougals. Betty makes siege weapons."

"Honoria , fine lass and a sidhe"

"I didn't think she made guns, though. I mean, maybe she does."

"How..... I guess Chimerical guns only work on things with a Chimerical side. A mortal gun would work on everyone."

"Hm." Sip.

"Hey, you don't have a gun, do you? That I could just, you know. See?"

He reaches behind the bar, and pulls up a shot gun "This is Geena, like Geena Davis. I call her that, because she's 'The long Kiss Good night"

Adam's eyes spark. "Woah. I don't know who that is, but ..... that's pretty cool. Is it heavy?"

"Sec" He takes out the slugs, then hands the now empy gun to him

He takes it carefully, keeps his fingers away from the trigger, hefts it. "Not -that- heavy. They kick, though, right? When you shoot them?"

"Recoil " A nod

"You've shot this." he isn't guessing. He is stating it to be confirmed.

"Yeah" A grimmer look

"Not for fun." More of a guess.

"Guns are arely for fun, and never with booze, no matter what you might imagine is on Duck Dynnasty reruns"

Adam nods, dead serious. "I get that."

"I've been hunting with Sir Sergi. Not with guns, though. But people do."

"Gun marskmen are rare among changelinngs but there are some"

"Know any?" with a grin as he offers the weapon back with both hands.

"Yeah.. in Rivervale theree's thane Tiffany. She's a damn good shot."

"I've met her." reservedly "Seems nice."

"But you might want to ttalk to the Dougals here too. If Dame Aigncourt doesn't know how to use a hand cannon, I'd be surprised"

"Huh. That's an idea." Adam nods. "Might do that. Do you know anyone that hunts? Besides Sir Sergi, of course."

"Dame Leonora but with a bow"

"Yeah. Dunno..... seems like a gun would be easier to carry around, you know?"

"SOunds sensible. "

"Not a long gun like that." he adds (perhaps unnecessarily) "You know, a pistol."

"A musket is probably what it will look like. Fits. You'd make a good Musketeer"

"Oh.. that's who else could teach you ttto shoot. though he uses real guns"
