There is a knock on the door.

Adam drops the phone next to him. Then he picks it up and fires off a text to Symon (for his player to address later) before he gets up to answer the door. "Yeah?" (Emotionally braced for the possibility of the maid with a face like a bag of assholes.)

Rather it's a maid who is quite pretty, save for the light soft fine sideburns

"Pardon sir." She inclines her head, "I have brought a change of linens. If you'd like, I can put them to work now for you"

He grins. "Yeah, sure. Come on it." He steps aside, and leaves the door open.

She gazes at him with wonder, then finds herself staring "Sorry, My lord" And she moves on in to start working deftly

"S'ok. I'm Adam. Uh, but I'm not a lord."

"But of course you are, sir" She says "merely a sleeping one. You are sidhe, though not yet fully realized. When you come to your own, whatever your title, the dreaming and its peoples shall be your charge to guide and rule. If you don't mind my presumption"

She works quick as she talks.

"Not really the same thing. But thanks. What's your name?"

"Antoinette, Sir" She says

"That's beautiful. French, right?"

"Yes, lordling" She says making sure all is tended, "Korreds are more numerous in France than they are here in Concordia"

"Korreds. I don't know that one."

"We are Guardians of ancient secrets, keepers of family traditions" She says "We're rather traditionalist as a rule, but I won't gush"

"Meaning, I shan 't get all political if that will offend folks"

"I'm not real political either." smiling.

"As pleases you" She says and looks about "I think I'm done, though I can come back and dust the dresser and shelves if you like?"

"Uh.... do they need it? I mean, it'd be great to see you again but I don't want you to do more work than you have to."

"It's all right, Sir. It's part of the job" SHe says And looks "And a touch wouldn't hurt them. I'll be back tomorrow to do that, I or one of the other maids if that's fine with you?"

"Yeah, sure." He nods. "Thanks for coming today."

"Just doing my job, at least what i hope becomes my job. Is there anything else lord?"

"You really don't have to call me that... and no, I guess not. Nice to meet you, Antoinette."

"Nice to meet you , sir" She says "I'll try not to use lord too casually if it bothers you. Dreaming's grace open for you soon" She moves off

"Yeah. That'd be nice....." he breathes, watching her go.

She's..pretty, the facial hair is kind of weird, but she's not exactly human

Got a tight ass.

"You've been doing that a lot more lately" a familiar voice, if small, Nabuni

He looks around, smiles. "Hey. There you are." He approaches.

She lands and grows to give him a PLEASANT Hug "Lately you've had a few more.. shall we say, direct thoughts about women."

He returns the hug and is definitely having some direct thoughts about HER.

"Is that a bad thing?"

"No, but I do think your unseelie side IS poking out a bit" She says purring

"That's not my unseelie side." He grins. "But I am glad to see you."

"I guess you must be" Her outfit is shifting slightly as she talks to him "Didn't like the casual clothes?"

"You look great!" He insists, arms still around her.

"Thanks. " She says "You seemed to like that maid better"

"Not better, not at all." Firmly. "She's nice. But it's not like I know her."

"True. " A pause "She's a bit in awe of you. I can tell you that"

A rakish grin, and he glances towards the door. "Yeah?"
