Nema twitches a bit as if that's madness... "Wait for answers, when you have the questions NOW?"

"Agreed," Coradel says, sipping at a glass of wine. "There are other pressures on the time we have available tonight."

Zara considers, brows furrowed.

She looks to Zara and nods to the book.

"I suspect Almandine might have the right kinds of questions for our newest fledge."

"Indeed...if he will be willing to mentor?" She looks over to the court seer.

The Seer does not hear this whisper, but does look about. He seems to be collecting stray energies into crystals.

"I shall ask him later."

"I know not. But I think he may be well suited."

A soft chuff of amusement at a passing thought.

Zara steps forward, holding the book out like a present. "Miss Nema?"

A little girl, frustrated that yes, sometimes answers must wait, gives an almost imperial huff, then turns to see the Baroness, the librarian and... "my book, you found it. Thank you thank you thank you." She moves right up.

"Take good care of it, child. And there are many answers to be found in the library, for those who are well-mannered."

Coradel is pleased to see the girl has basic manners, at least. That will serve her well, especially where the library is concerned.

Nema craddles the book to her like hugging a friend, "I will and I shall remember my manners. Especially if that helps me get to more books" she admits "But even if not, it just seems.. nice?" She appears to be a sweet girl in general temperament.

Lord Hume opens the door, peeks in and appraises the childling. He seems to be checking for signs of rank or title, then he closes the door hoping no one notices.

"It is nice, yes. Nobody wishes to upset Bronte."

"Lord Hume!"

Coradel did notice, apparently.

There is an almost audible wince on the other side of the door and it opens SLOWLY to reveal the Dougal Heir, "Baroness, hello. Don't mind me, I'm sure you're all busy."

Nema asks "Who is Bronte?" Then she sees Lord Hume but decides he doesn't look like a Bronte.

She crooks a finger to get him to approach. "I was actually about to send somebody to look for you."

He approaches and bows, his chimerical spine making its usual soft pops, "Willing to serve."

"Bronte is a Bookwyrm. She helps guard the Library from pooka and unruly children."

"She is also a most voracious devourer of books, but those she leaves perfectly intact as she consumes them."

"ooo, a book wyrm, Draco Liber Gula" She says then adds slyly "As I'm a sidhe, I am rarely 'un ruley'" A grin pleased with herself then she adds "That's a pun."

When he straightens from his bow, Coradel rests a hand on his shoulder, then clears her throat for Nema's attention. "Miss Nema Eventide, may I introduce Lord Hume of House Dougal. He is also my heir. Lord Hume, Miss Nema will be visiting us often. I hope you will be a kind host and give her a tour of the grounds the next time she is here."

Zara listens, head slightly tilted.

Nema looks torn but seeing as there is no dragon she turns to Hume and curtseys "My lord, it an honor to meet you. Your baroness is wonderful so I am sure you are too."

Hume actually smiles, then inclines his head, "Miss Nema, I'll be using my own skills to help you so you can visit often without mortal confusion. It's always nice to have another young one here. Maybe I can get you some video games."

Coradel grins, pleased.

"I like games, thank you" Nema nods, not sure what the video part means but she figures she will learn. "Do you like books?"

Hume will look over to Zara at that question, then say to the girl "More than I used to."

"Oh you just need the right books then," Nema is SURE of that. " Everyone loves reading when they find the right books."

Zara grins. Oh, she might like this one already.

The Seer shoots the Librarian a look at that remark, fond and mildly accusatory.

"Excellent. You two will broaden each other's horizons. However, I think we need to turn our attention back to more immediate concerns. Miss Nema, your time here runs short for the moment. We must return you to where your host's body was before your Dream Dance."

Delores nods "Shall I get Eugena to drop her off there?"

"I think so, yes, Delores."

"You will have a strange life to adapt to. But in some ways it might be easier than others have had to deal with. For instance, you will not be expected to remember anything about your host's life." Coradel explains about Dawn's condition.

"Shall I send one of the Sisters with her?"

To Zara, "By all means, yes. I think that's an excellent idea."

She listens to what she is supposed to know, then says "Hiding secrets. I can do that. And I will remember to be kind to her ... my parents."

One of the sisters volunteers for this dangerous potentially spider smashing duty.

"Good. You may also wish to reveal your healthy mind a small bit at a time. Too sudden a change may result in doctors and tests and other banal things. To start, simply making and holding eye contact would be a remarkable step forward to demonstrate."

She nods "I will do it. Slowly."

A brief conference with 13, before the spider skitters to the fledge's side.

The little girl jumps then blushes ,and offers the spiders a spot to hide in "Just not in my hair, please." Then she looks as if is soon ready to go. She looks nervous. But having 13 along gives her courage.

"We will come to fetch you soon for your next visit. Be watchful and brave." Coradel gives her a formal curtsy.

And Delores guides her to Eugenia, the boggan girl goes "Come along. I'll get you there. Boggans help. Always." /Delores smiles at that, and soon, the newest sidhe is gone.
