The rebound of the 'Fire's energy sent Coradel reeling for a moment, but she got her footing quickly and whirled a bit of a dance while laughing with the thrill of fresh glamour!

Chimera appear all over, fortunately most seem non combative, but the thanes and knights are there. Butterfly winged Rocking Horses that race about, Rainbows that are seen only in reflections, a wizened old man only six inches tall with a hat from Dr. Seuss that's as tall as he is if you count the feather....

"Catch what you can," she says to the knights and thanes, "and hunt what you must! Bring back stories to share!" Honestly, she'd love to ride out and see what more unpleasant things might be lurking on the property. However, she has a different duty now, and once she catches her breath a bit, she goes over to the newly embodied sidhe. "Welcome," she says gently.

Coradel ma or may not spot a spider or two in the chaos. They certainly aren't hiding from the Fiona, but there's a lot going on.

A smile and a nod to the Sisters. She trusts they will know how to keep out from underfoot.

They do!

The young sidhe is now, well, staring in wonder. Her hair seems longer, bathed in chimerical moonlight that seems to follow her akin to a soft spotlight. Those wide eyes that were light blue now have silver flecks that shimmer with interest in the world she has arrived in. Her voile consists of doe skin artfully worked as if she were walking in the woods before this, though she appears to be no hunter.

"Where am I?" She inquires, "If you please?" And curtseys without thinking about it.

"You are in Concordia, specifically at the baronial manor for Earthrunes. I am Baroness Coradel Truthbranch. How would you prefer I address you?"

"A moment, please, baroness," She ponders "This feels important." A very serious expression on her young face which is, of course, adorable.

She puts her finger to her lips, contemplating.

"Of course," Coradel nods, respecting the solemnity of the task.

"I don't remember much " She finally says with a bit of frustration, "The soul I was supposed to meet left long ago... odd feeling, like finding clothing that fits so well you don't trust it, and yet I was... well, I had to know." She blushes, then says "Call me Nema Eventide, if you please?"

Her hair is a dark brown to mortal eyes but to fae eyes it contains a platinum blonde stripe that seems to shift from one section of her hair to the other.

"Nema Eventide. That's a lovely name. You are very welcome to Earthrunes, Nema, and we are relieved to see that you found your way to this host. Come...let us get you some food and drink, and we will talk a bit about this world you have joined. Your situation is a bit...well...complicated, and will require some adjustment. It's certain to be a bit dramatic. I hope you're up for that."

Nema smiles at her, "I'm complicated? That sounds...interesting. Yes, please. I would like to learn." She moves along. At her waist, Coradel notes the childling has a stiletto blade, a dagger really though on the girl's small frame it looks more like a short sword. "Thank you very kindly, Baroness. Am I far from Arcadia? Is it lost? How long have we been gone? There was a road... it was crumbling behind us... I was arguing with my brother.. I THINK it was a brother, that we should not leave so many behind." A nose wrinkle at some memory then she pauses and looks up with concern "Are our people okay?"

"Some are well. Some are lost. And yes, we are far from Arcadia. Tell me, do you remember this brother's name?"

"His name is Ne.." And the girl stops, then seems to grow cautious, "I am not sure I should tell you. You seem a friend, and clearly have taken me in... which is nice, thank you, but there are enemies of old and I suspect might be ones of new? I would not insult you by saying I cannot trust you, but I do worry."

Coradel smiles. "I see you have wisdom. Good. You needn't tell me now, and I'm not insulted." She requests members of her court who are not currently hunting chimera to join them in the dining room for introductions and a bit of midnight refreshment.

Rosco and Almandine are quite obvious, of course. But there is also a librarian in the dining room, dark eyes seeking the Fledge with curiosity.

And a Steward Boggan who smiles, "Oh, my. Who do we have here?"

The librarian had better be there, as Coradel certainly considers her part of the court (regardless of title or lack thereof).

The little sidhe lady looks over those in the room with a mix of pleasure, curiosity, and assessment.

"Librarian" is a title!

Coradel makes introductions, announcing Nema's chosen name and making sure she knows the various members of Earthrunes. "My husband, August, is busy currently, but he will be eager to meet you as well once he can join us."

Zara kenns the childling, her brushing senses as soft as the dust from a moth's wing.

As introductions are made, Nema inclines her head to them slightly and says "I am ever so glad to meet you all. I was quite lost, but there was this great tunnel and... I don't know how to say it, but it was if I fit. I had to look, of course, but then I found myself sliding down and... well here and who I am. Did anyone find my book? I think I dropped it on the way in. "

A quirked eyebrow at the magic word.

The hold seems to not just accepted her , it acts as if she is no stranger at all.

Or so their kenning tells them.

Zara breathes a thought to the sisters, sending them looking - a chimerical book may well have manifested.

"A book? I did not see it, but I suspect our librarian will be able to locate it, if it came along with you." She nods to Zara. "What are the contents of this book?"

"Oh," She smiles "That's easy, it's a rose and purple cover with two curves on it like a sunrise or sunset, and inside it..." her features grow concerned, "I do not remember all that was in it? that.. this.. oh the mists are not playing far. I knew what was in it, I know I knew. It's not fair to have me forget THAT." A slight footstomp of noble temperment, though soft, as if taking sluagh ears into account.

"It has a silver lock," She adds with a hurmph

"If it came through, we shall find it."

The spiders are on their way already, seeking it out. Hurry, sisters, less the Bookwyrm find it first and we never be able to get to it

Coradel gives her an empathetic look. "The mists are frustrating, yes. You will remember more, though probably not all. It takes time, though, and for now you must focus on what you need to learn tonight before you must enter the world of the mortals."

She blushes lightly "I don't mean to be a bother." She takes a deep breath, "What must I learn? And... may I have a snack as I learn? "

"Of course!" Coradel requests that the staff bring some food and drink for all, then looks to Bachdion. "Teacher-mine, would you be willing to give the first-blush overview of our lives in Concordia?"

It takes the spiders a few minutes, but they find the book described. They do, and the roar of a furious bookwyrm can be heard for like a whole six feet! As the spiders carry it away towards its just arrived owner.

Bachdion grins "The Escheat express it is, and I will be delighted."

Coradel turns to Nema. "Sir Bachdion was my teacher when I first arrived. Listen closely."

And she does. The ladies have a few minutes to talk if they wish while Bachdion revels in the role he has found as a calling, holding the little girl in rapt attention.

Zara leaves Bachdion to lecture, so she may meet the sisters and retrieve the book.
