"Why not?" she says with her usual confidence.

"I want us to meet her."

"Because I'm -bad- at this sort of thing...." but he is willing to follow along.

"Well, you've been doing fine so far, from what I saw. Come..." and she draws him near to where Lady Wynda stands, though not directly to her.

He walks with her on his arm... or perhaps, she walks with her hand on his arm.

Lady Wynda is taking a glass of wine from a tray and looking about

Coradel obtains two glasses from the same tray as it passes, handing one to August. A nod and a smile to Lady Wynda.

She turns "Ah, Baronesss.... Coradel? Do I have that right?"

"You do." A courteous nod. "And my husband, Baron August. And...you would be Lady Wynda, I believe?"

August bows.

"You've heard of me? Surprising, I am landless and of little influence" She smiles despite her words but she curtseys to both with a free hand while her drink stays in her right one

"Oh, I think you may be surprised whose lips mention your name," Coradel says vaguely, taking a sip as she looks around the room.

"Are you enjoying yourself?"

"Well, now that I'm in your and your husband's company, I am not going to say otherwise or it might be insulting to you both" A smile and her eyes sparkle

A bit of a laugh. "Clever! I must say, I'm enjoying spending time meeting those I've not had the chance to know before."

"What brings you to court today, Lady?"

"Well, this is my main access to a freehold and the outside world is a dreary place at times."

"It can be, certainly. Of course, August is always skilled at finding the glow amidst the grey," she says and smiles lovingly at her Liam love.

He glows in the light of her love.

"Liam hardships has made their house natural foragers of a sort" She observes

"Truly so. But beyond what comes naturally with the House, August has worked to develop his skills in that regard."

"Has he?" She appraises August "A useful talent, finding dreamers. No wonder Earth Runes thrives so"

"It has been a great blessing." the Liam answers soberly.

"Perhaps you would like to come and visit sometime, Lady."

"I fear I'd be green with envy," She admits "My own house has so few holds in the area it seems"

Coradel pauses and tilts her head, considering the Eiluned. "I wonder...Lady, did you know my predecessor, Baron Nemauses?"

"I knew of him, only met him once. An honor. He was a true Eiluned"

"He was a wonderful man. I often miss him. Of course, I am not the only one who does. My jester was inconsolable for quite some time."

"Oh? yes, Shallimar? A skunk pooka is he not?"

"He is, indeed," she says fondly.

Her reaction seems blaise, perhaps too much so "Yes, grief can drrive us to drastic actions"

"Hmm...well, I think he has completed his grieving by now."
