and a voice break out from the book, "Young lady, what are you doing with my old book? And where is it? I've been looking for it for ages"

"Twas an apple, Teacher-mine. A locked box. Must you ask why?"

"You could get hurt, you little goose." Fondly "This book was made in some earlier years before the Sidhe authorities seized it. "

"Aye? Perhaps I should visit for tea... or you, here? I have a lovely new tea chest..."

"Well I have missed my favorite student... but look, that book was never very stable, try to leave it alone for a day? I'll drop by tomorrow if you wish"

"I have already had an adventure with it... but aye. I have it on loan for three days."

"On loan? Who's the unlucky owner? And do you like him or her?"

"A Dougal named Rosco. Coradel hath hired him as the Hold's Namer."

"I.. suspect I like him, aye."

"Rosco? Son of a bitch" Startled "He's alive?"

"...Aye?"

"I'll tell you about when I visit" ARgh. He's leaving her twitching with mroe questions

Huff!

"Let's just say we have a history. So he's the one who has my old terror tome. Da'an laughs. Tell Earl I said hello and to visit more often"

"Aye, aye."

"THank you young lady. Oh, and what ever you do, don't use the book on holidays, especially unstable then. ANYTHING could happen. Thank goodness Samhain is over"

Several floor below the garret room, Coradel is looking for Zara, checking the library first.

A soft snerk and she shakes her head. "Too late, but thank you."

Below, Bronte has been BRIBED.

The little dragon has a stack of new books to read.

and the book Zara was studying closes again

Coradel smiles at the little dragon and strokes a finger atop her scaly head briefly. "I shan't disturb you long. Where may I find Zara?"

Zara wraps the book in silk before tucking it away in a box.

Bronte looks up "Rapunzel? "

She follows the look up, then smiles. "Of course. Well...I won't invade her privacy there, at least not unless I have to. But I do need to speak with her." A pause. "Ah! Perhaps one of the spiders might let her know?" she says to the room in general.

One of the spiders scatters off...

and reports to Zara!

"She is? I wonder... alright." And so, Zara heads down to the Library.

Coradel might not have seen the spider go exactly, but she does murmur to herself, "I suppose it can't be too hard to learn Morse code."

"Miss Coradel?" A whisper behind the Fiona.

"Ah!" A pleased (not startled) sound as she turns. "There you are. I wished to check on you after our little adventure."

"I am doing well. And you, I hope?"

"Oh, very well!" she replies, but keeps her voice low. "I certainly have discovered a thing or two about the noisy, intense world you live in."

"Ah... in some ways, it seems a shame twas solved so simply. Though I fear I make a poor Fiona. It was a most interesting experience."

"Indeed, I make a terrible sluagh...though I think I understand your tastes a bit better now. I do have a question, though. I woke up splayed over a book. That makes sense, as I was in your body. But it begs the question...of where my body was when you woke in it?" A bemused look.

"Well, in truth, I do not exactly remember the details..."

A surprised look. "How odd. I remember waking in your body quite clearly."

"Oh, I remember waking up.. I mean, I do not remember before waking..."

"No, no, of course not. However, knowing some of the places that I have woken up the morning after Samhain...." a pause. "I would like to know where 'I' was." It's an amused request...but definitely a request.

Zara turns quite pink!

"Ah. Ah. According to Miss Leonora, that particular bedroom has but one purpose..."

Her puzzled look lasts only for a moment. Then a grin. "I see! And...Leonora had the opportunity to tell you this...when, exactly?"

"In...the room..."

Oh, yes, very amused. "That must have been a VERY new sensation.'

"She was.. ah.. admirably vehement in her loyalty to you, on the thought that an imposter had wrought mischief..." Oh, Zara is almost glowing.

"Ah. I did not.. look, per se. But I could not quite avoid..."

Coradel looks delighted on a number of levels. "You know I want all the details. And...I might have a little more information about what your body was doing at the time, as well...." she adds in a bit of a sing-song.

"I might have been able to explore a bit more had I not woken with a lover... but, of course, I did not wish to cause panic until I knew what was occurring... and.. I.. pray, I could NOT behave as you, for I am.. I... I hath given myself, aye?"

"Oh, yes, you have. You have, indeed. And let me compliment you on your taste in men who have some passion in their spirits!"

A blush but a smile. "Mine Earl is wonderful, aye. I would not trade him for any."
