"Well, this should be interesting" The Mountain looks about as he enters under his stray hat. He feels the Avalanche nearby. "Sweet Odin, Rosco, stop waving it around."

A spider (1122!) drops down from above to land on Emmitt's shoulder.

Emmit looks over "Well young fellow. Your kids have spread out all over the farm and beyond. Just so you know. Now, is the Corrupter in or should I go talk to Rosco for a bit? or just have a drink?"

Tippity-tap - Zara was expecting him, but got caught up in a book. (Not THAT book)

"Same as it ever was," He chuckles and heads to the library

Only to run into Rosco

"Wildheart... son of a bitch you're still alive" Rosco scratches his chin

"Stompy, how long has it been?" Emmit smiles back

"Since wwe nearly killed each other? Not long enough" Rosco looks sheepish "And I told you before, I'm crazy about the nick name Stompy."

"Then learn to tap it down, Stompy. You come across as subtle as a landslide in a china shop, let alone a bull. Though to be fair, I gave the name Wildheart to someone else.. mostly"

Rosco raises a brow "Most be someone important to you. Who treasures you."

"SHe hates my guts." Emmit sighs

"Doesn't make my guess wrong though" The old Dougal says "I heard you went a bit more public."

"A bit, not my idea at first. Young folks always gotta shake things up." he sighs "Good Chief though"

"I always thought YOu'd be chief of the BeDukes..." Rosco confessed

"DeBukes" He corrects, "And hell no. I take it you're not ruling anywhere either"

Rosco shakes his head "Done too much , hands aren't clean enough to feel right having a hold"

"Well," The Mountain nods understanding "It happens."

"Well, when I felt another namer here I Had to check it out," The Dougal says

"Oh? No other namers here besides us?" The Mountain raises a brow "Because I thought maybe I felt something."

Rosco looks up at the much taller man who once nearly killed him and vice versa "You're going senile, Wildheart, it's just the two of us."

"I suppose it must be," The Mountain gave a feral grin back "See you later , maybe, Stompy."

And the two part

And off the Mountain moves to get his tea, filling in 1122 on events at the farm

MEANWHILE....
August enters the library quietly, looking around before he whispers "Zara?"

No response.

He enter and goes to the paper and pen to write a note.

He slips the note, folded, into a space he knows she will find it.

And then quietly, slips out.

Zara returns to the world at the end of her chapter, to a tappity spider. "He is? Oh, he did?"

And Emmit knocks

Then enters in quietly "Bad timing?"

"Not at all. Please, sit. I made tea!"

"Thank you, young lady. Is that a new set? " He doesn't miss much

"A gift from Earl, and then this...." She touches the chest. "A prize!"

"Oh? " He looks at the chest "mmm

"

"You've been busy" He smiles

Zara nods. "Busy enough. No great adventures, per se..."

"Oh that'll show up, probably when you least expect it. Remember anything from your samhain? Sometimes adventure comes to you"

"Not on the day. Rather, it was waking up in Coradel's body." She shoots him a look, eyebrow raised.

"Do tell?" he takes a sip of tea "That must have been awkward for folks. Coradel all right?"

"She awoke in me."

A sniff. "She seems to think I was snooping in Rosco's room."

"What a thing to suggest, you? of all people, prying into mysteries?" A sip then "Were you?"

"To be fair, I don't know..."

"oh, ho my that is a tangle," He shakes his head, "Samhain mists catch us all off guard. Regardless you came into contact with the book. Bodies switched. And you're as curious as ever?"

She looks remarkably innocent.

"Now, can you imagine - I asked to borrow the book to investigate. And he just. lent it!"
