"It's a beautiful library," Gladiola stared at it. She was no reader by nature, but who didn't have at least a few favorite books? And this was just impressive

Ivory looked a bit proud. He didn't mention his relation to Zara, but he still took a few moments to enjoy praise to her for himself even if it made no sense "Before he became Baron, Sir August was, and still is, scribe here. He realized that a grade A library could be made, and he went to the right woman to make it happen. Miss Zara is a sluagh., a fine young woman, and has proven to be a librarian born."

"I read a book once, old fantasy novel.... some line about Libarians being where scholarship starts because all the books in the world won't help you if they're just piled up in a heap.” The troll admires

Ivan comes in after, then sneezes, and a fine coating of fur floats off to cover some of the library.

"Yes, Ivan, it IS a bit dusty" She observes

It is a fine library. Shelves and shelves of books, small side tables perfect for settling with a cup of tea, a comfortable couch with a lion on it, snug reading nooks...

Ivan goes on guard, not growling, but stance ready.

"is that a Lion?" Gladiola inquires blankly, knowing that yes, yes it is, and not even a chimerical one

"That's Vince," Sir Ivory informs her

Then he adds, "he's a pooka. " Possibly ruining some of Vince's fun

"Oh, they have LION pooka?" Gladiola is surprised, "I didn't know pooka came in lions."

A WIIIIIDE yawn showing off his teeth.... oh, are those bows in his mane? It seems that Isis has gotten to him again. Not that he minds, doting on the childlings.

She smiles, and nods to Vince, "Nice to meet you, Vince, sorry for any trouble" And she goes about carefully, fingers touching the spines of the books as she looks over for books on House Daireann. To her surprise , she finds one quite quickly. SHe opens it and looks over "Donated by Baron Quinlan?" She sits down carefully on a chair she hopes can fit her properly and starts to read

The Lion stretches and slides down off the couch, making room.

Despite his size, he moves quite carefully in the library, placing paws delicately and only swishing his tail where it won't knock over any precarious stacks of novels.

"I see Isis has gotten to your mane again," Ivory notes to the Lion

Is he stalking Ivory? Oh, he perhaps was... until the Sidhe addresses him directly, and he must sit and groom a paw. Nothing going on HERE.

A shake of his mane, quite PROUD of his bows.

"They are stylishly placed," Ivory observes, "Go well wlith your natural shining mane hues"

"is.. Vince..vain?" Gladiola raises a brow

A rumbling HUFF.

"Vince is aware how important style can be at high court" Ivory fights 80% of his smile

"My apologizes, Vince," Gladiola seems distracted as she reads "Oh wow., uhm. .House Daireann is..." How does one say 'not nice'?

And yet, as she reads, there are somethings she agrees with. Hospitlaity, a roof over the head.

And honor, yes, and a personal honor makes sense. Calanthe used the THanes honor against them, she defined THEIR honor to serve her selfish needs.

Personal honor, defined by one's own self, might be, probably IS better

She takes out some papers and copies notes

Ivory looks amused, then says "is everything.. okay?"

SHe looks up "Fine, why?"

"You were very.. chatty , in front of the Baroness" He observes.

The lion has, for all appearances, dozed off again.

"She seemed curious how Silverwolf was doing," She looks over at Ivory. He's like a white hued god, really, that albino condition does not dim his sidhe birthright but she has learned not to drool, "So I told her the truth. We thrive, our world looks promising, and Da'an seems to be blessing us. "

"That's.. what I took away from it entirely," He admits cautiously

"We have two strong leaders, two fledges who will contribute to the Dreaming and grow to be fine folks, our animals are among the best, and we have growth both within the hold, and without it into the barony. That's the truth we should focus on, the one that matters, don't you think?" Her eyes plead just a bit, or at least request

"Three fledges if you coun't our centauress, who gets sained this winter"

"I.. think I see," Ivory sighs, then looks at her "You mentioned Bluebell teaching you musing. She's a gentle soul, yes?"

"Of course, she's great" Gwen perks at that "Everyone there now is pretty cool," A thought "Well, Willy I don't understand but she is talented, and Blossom has a BIT of a tude, but they're cool overall"

"huh..." he pulls out some ink and writing paper of his own and makes some notes

She reads on, Hey, they're good with salves and ingestibles for healing, comfort, and ..karmic facilitation?

Time flies, before Ivan tugs at her sleeve

"Huh?" She looks at it 'Crud. I have to get back"

"Trod's about to close' He nods "Here, take this with you" He offers

SHe opens the paper ,then looks at him "Are.. are you sure?"

"I get the feeling I've complicated things for you. Consider this my way of apologizing" He answers

"You.. you've been great," She assures, "And I'll always be grateful. But I have to look out for Silver wolf first now, it's honor reflects on me, and vice versa" Gladiola looks down at him somberly "I can't, won't, let it be defined by any troubles in it's past. It will rather be known for the promise it shows and even now grows towards. Please.. tell folks about that part? The good?"

Ivory nods, wondering if the girl has forgotten Vince is there, but no, she gives a glance and hopeful look to the Lion as well

He lifts his head, and gives a rather mild sounding "mrowl", the closest he can get to a reassuring mew.

"I will definitely tell folks about a fine young knigght there, and the good folks who treated her with kindness" The Liam answers assuringly

"Thank you both" She puts the book back where she found it, and with her notes, and the gift heads back towards the trods.
