"Cotton candy" Fussing whispers

"You asked" Tylar's voice can be heard

"Come in?"

The squires, cleanned up, rested, well fed , enter in

"Hello."

"Liege, we've returned from our quest." Squire tylar bows.

Velvet curtseys

"Yes, I saw." he reminds guilelessly "Are you rested?"

"Yes , baron" Velvet observes

"If you're ready to, ah, share your experiences? Have you had a chance to make notes?" he tries but he's eager for the information.

Velvet smiles and puts out a scroll case "Our notes are here.. the mists can even blur writtenn words but I find it remarkably well preserved at the core elements"

"Oh." he shows delight even as he reaches for it, then pauses "Thank you."

"Twas part of our mission, that and treasures" Velvet demures as if it were not so great a thing

"As for treasures..."

"The information is treasure enough, yes?"

"Not hardly" Squire Tylar says almost offended

"No?"

Then he catches himself "Pardon, lord. One prize we found was this.." He reaches into his pouch and pulls out a book, at first glance it is a tattered ratty thing, dog eared and scratched, but it kens powerfully.

August keeps his hands to himself "That seems... powerful."

"Well, it's specialized... " Is it a self help book? the title seems to shift... one moment it says 'Frail hope is hard to kill' and another it says 'Don't let the bastards hold you down' the next 'the power of belief'.. from religious angles to more secular slogans "It only works on sons of adam and daughters of Eve." he explains

Velvet looks VERY pleased "It helps victims of ravaging restore themselves"

August smiles as he holds it.

"Thank you."

He hands it back to Tylar. "Please let the House know of this."

"It won't last forever" Tylar goes on "it helps a mortal soul recover, then takes the weight on itself. It gets a bit mroe scratched, a touch more tornn. We don't know if it will crumble after helping 10 more people, or a hundred and ten. I'll see the House gets it my lord"

"Thank you."'

Velvet pouts a bit, but lets it be

"The second gift is more ...Fionesque" Velvet blushes "Rather minor"

August coughs. "Would you rather present it to the Baroness?"

"Perhaps, it's a ..scarf, it captures the scent of your loved one at their best and...it lasts" She blushes

"It will always smell and remind you of them evenn when they're far away" Tylar adds "They colagne they use, or perfume..."

August coughs. "That... I think you should decide for yourselves what you would like to do with it."

They look at each other blush, then say at the same time "For the baronness"

"oh, and we have a gift for you, Baron. This way please?" Velvet suggests?

The stables? Why would they go to the stables?

"We.. won you a horse" Tylar says

"Me?"

A new Fae horse, a mare... who is pretty enough to mortal eyes, but to enchanted gaze, takes on Liam colors
