"Damn right" Claire says, she has not answer tthe 'hmm?' though

"A pen might suit her as a weapon. " he points out softly.

"Mightier than the sword " Magnus nods

"Why not both?" Coradel murmurs back to August.

"Warrrioress poet maybe, but she is learning at least the basics of sword play" Clare insists

"Both, if she likes." August agrees.

"Now watch, she'll take up needlecraft and nothing else." Coradel winks back at Claire.

"Just to be defiant."

"Huff" Goes the Ailil

"Claire, do you want to take a nap before we start the jail-break? Or shall we get right to it?"

A smirk "Let's get to it" She declares

"Help her dress, Magnus," Coradel directs.

"But, ah, are you up to it?" August is concerned.

"Yes, ,mother.." Amused... and he goes to it "August hold onto River just a bit more please?"

"I'm a shedragon I can do.." A grunt of light pain "Anything" As she gets up very tenderly

"It's best for new mothers to get moving as soon as they can," Coradel declares with her mantle of authority. August might wonder if she's applying knowledge of horses to humans.

"It was a smooth delivery, correct? No surgery involved?"

"The natural way" CLaire agrees "Well, a few painkillers"

"She'll need to lean on you, Magnus," she says, setting the basket to rights. "Or I suppose we could liberate a wheel chair."

"Ahhh......" August stvands the holding rivwr carefully.

A wheel chair is 'borrowed' and that makes egress much easier. The enchanted Nurse informs 'mistress' she will clear the paper work for her... and out they go

Coradel relieves August of little River, and returns the baby to Claire's arms once she's settled in the chair. A brief chiding look at August, warning him not to complain about the enchantment of the mortal right now.

And on they move

Hopefully Magnus and Claire already obtained a baby seat and have it in their car?

They do! It looks like a little throne

Claire starts to ggo for the driver's seat... and Magnus stops her "Are you out of your mind?" he asks

"Oh.." She fusses "I can drive"

"Drawing a line here" He asserts

"I'm going to agree with Magnus this time, Claire. You get to be chauffered."

"Mmm you're only calling it that to appeal to my pride... it's working, but I want you to know I know" She sits in the back next to the baby chair and stares at her little girl as if amazed

"We work with what we've got," Coradel says to Claire with a wink. "And...oh...I just remembered that Sir Earl flashed us here. We'll need to go with you."

August has been very good indeed and hasn't mentioned the nurse at all.

"We could call a ride. " he points out.

"Get in both of you.. one of you back here with the babyand I" Claire says

Coradel seems about to agree with August, but then Claire gives the command, and she gleefully selects the seat in back, so that the baby is between them. "I'll call ahead to alert the DuBois house." She takes out her phone and calls.

And August is pulled into shotgun

Coradel apparently reaches one of the servants, and she starts directing them about the new guests. "Set up the larger guest room, and bring down the crib that I know Mother has stored in the attic. Yes, three days. Their regular residence will be ready by then. Yes, and let Mother and Papa know. Yes, that's fine. Yes. We'll be there soon."

And the orders sent... it's a done deal

August twists in his seat to smile at Coradel.

"There!" she says with satisfaction. She smiles back to August, and then she leans close to River and says, "This is your first car ride. Just wait until I teach you how to drive!"

"Oh no.. she is not driving Fiona syle..." A protest from the mom

Gerd drops Symon off "Huh.. yeah a bit fancy for me "

“I can get back through Firnost, if you don’t want to stick around. Or Here to SilverWolf, if you wanted to see that nocker, then take the Rome trod.” He offers.

"I'll provide my own transport. You're here to see Zara right?"

He taps his nose silently. “Any message to pass on?”

"Well I thought I'd say hi to her myself"

“Not to be rude, but can you make it quick? I don’t now how much time I’m working on… “ He checks his watch and clutches his backpack close.

"Oh, no nevermind... you go ahead. Just tell her I said hi"
