August maybe hard to find.. but folks can' help notice Coradel is scrambling about

Scrambling may not sound very sidhe-like...but she scrambles with style.

"Honestly, if I he doesn't show up soon, I'm going to have to head over there without him!"

"Head over where?" Isis inquires, the little cat pooka dear quite curious "Is there a calamity? Is this a dog's fault? I TRY To train Enri but Poppy is impossible"

Coradel is pacing, but she pauses to smile at the girl. "No, my dear purrr-incess. No calamity. Dame Claire is about to have her baby!"

She claps "Will it be a girl, or a tragedy?"

Coradel laughs. "It shall be a baby, and beyond that makes no difference."

"Isis, perhaps you should gather up the childlings to make congratulations cards for Sir Magnus and Dame Claire, and Welcome cards for the new baby."

"Of course, it shall be our royal duty"

"Many thanks, your highness," she says with a formal curtsey. When she rises, she says, "Before you go, have you any idea where Sir Bachdion might be?"

"Uh.. fightinng fires with Smokey the Bear?"

She blinks. "Pardon?"

"He went with Sir Surgee... to hawk goods" The litle girl says

"The onnly flash mob now is Sir Earlybird"

"Oh, of course he's with Sir Sergei. Silly of me. Yes, yes...I'll have Sir Earl do it."

"And I shall rally the others to play cards" She curtsies and goes

Coradel calls to one of the staff to locate Sir Earl and bring him at once. She gets a bit imperious when there's suspense.

And so Earl shows up, not as fast as she'd like but yes " I was in the middle of a preliminary sketch, is this important?"

She explains the situation. "...and they're at the hospital now. I can't find August, so I'll need to go now, and you can send him later."

"Ive been to the hospital before, I can get him there" Earl nods "Happy to help, Coradel."

"Thank you, Sir Earl. Can you get me there now, or should I drive?"

"Well, let me use a bit of dross to speed it and I'll send you..."

August wanders in with his nose in a book.

"No-no, here..." She offers him a lovely bit of jewelry, hand-blown glass beads in a hammered silver setting.

"Oh, AUGUST! Hurry!" Coradel beckons him over urgently.

"Ah... wait, what?"

Earl takes it... "August, you're about to be a grandfather, I'm supposed to flicker flash you to the hospital with your wife. "

"The baby is coming, August. Come on!"

She grabs his arm, beaming a smile.

"Baby?? OH!"

It takes him a moment.

But he gets there.

Earl quotes a passage he heard from a Bookwyrm, though he forgets the source, "Families are messy. Immortal families are eternally messy. Sometimes the best we can do is to remind each other that we're related for better or for worse...and try to keep the maiming and killing to a minimum.”

And gglamour engulfs both

And they're gone.

Earl wipes his brow "Hope I got that fast enough."'

"But what IF," Shalimar says "Someoen fuddled you during the casting so you sent them to Paris' tunnnels?"

Earl turns to see the Jester "You wouldn't. "A beat "You didn't. Did you?"

Shalimar smiles sweetly

but of course, only time will else if Augustt and Coradel made it to the hospital

(End Scene)

And to a hospital they arrive

The parking lot anyway . It's what Earl remembered best

"Ah.... what?"

And Coradel with her

Coradel looks around to see if Earl came with them, but she's also tugging August towards the hospital doors.

Nope. He didn't. And they soon get to the doors

Coradel did have the presence of mind to have Delores's gift basket with her when they flashed, and she hands the hefty item to August as she pushes inside.

Inward they go.

And it's a bit busy but one lady in scrubs says "Can I help you?"

Coradel mentally braces for the cold blast of banality.
