Leonora licks her lips "Wouldn't say no"

August accepts this logic without comment.

"And lastly, " He moves and presents the other "And the last one is a personal favorite, a Lemon Meringue Cheesecake. Rather rich but I hope it's rich that works"

"I'm gaining calories just LOOKING at it" she admits

Each is quite good, but here, personal bias will overide anything else. They've had better, but then they've had boggan dishes

August savors each bite.

He may be bookish, but he's always had a good appetite and his efforts to improve his combat skills may have sharpened it.

Indeed, he's earned it.

After all are sampled, Jerry asks "Opinions, problems, improvements?" A bit nervous

August groans slightly as he tucks away the last bite and settles back. "So good."

"thanks sir, " Bubbling

"I have to say I'm partial to the cheesecake and the mousse. The pear is very good, but... the richness of the others is seductive."

"Not my favorite part of the meal, but that's because the other stuff was SO great." Leonora tells Jerry "I can't pick a favorite... but if I might suggest? When you take your test? don't advertise the Flambeed Vanilla-Poached Pears with Apricot Sauce so specically . Don't telll them what events you think they fit, let the judges decide that. You don't want to narrow their views beofe they take a bite"

"Agreed. Those pears would grace -any- occasion."

"Good point. I sort of shot the poor dish in the foot there. thanks" He nods to them both.. annd yes, takes the advice as constructive. Glamour trails from him "I think you've both helped me a lot in prep for the big exam. I thinkn I can make it"

"Jerry, I am absolutely certain of it."

"you'll be great" Leonoa gives him a hug

Jerry chuckles "Okay, let me get you some to go boxes and bags. I'd love to talk more but I should clean up"

"I feel like we should help you."

"N o no... wouldn't be right. " He shakes his head "I can' shirk any part of the job"

"I can respect that too." with a smile.

He prepares excess food to go, including a small cooler if they need things, and wishes them a few more thanks. The Dreamer waves to them both

Leoora leans against Augus "I am stuffed"

August pays the valet to bring the car and supports Leonora. "Me too." comfortably.

And they start to drive home "So.. going to spoil some of that for Zara? Pardon me, age?"

"Yes. I might give it to her, allow her to do it herself. I'm certain she could better than I."

"A good point. I've enough to spoil Vince"

August smiles. "He enjoys being spoon fed."

"Or Finger foods" A pleased smile "Maybe I'll tell him if he's very nice he can use me as a tray"

"Ah." he blushes a bit but hands her into the car and then seats himself. "Did you wish to return to EarthRunes, or elsewhere?"

"Oh, Earth runes I suppose" A smile "Want to snuggle after we put the food away?"

"If Coradel is back, I'd like to check in with her. After that?"

"Sure" A smile

And off they go back to ER
