A curious look to Siv, and then a nod to Whiskers. "You have a knack. And I think he may already trust you...or at least underestimate you."

A soft laugh. "I will try, my Lioness. For thee, nothing is too great an ask."

"Oh, you are a true and glorious companion, Whiskers," she says, touching his cheek softly. She then leans to give August a kiss on the cheek as he has gone back to poring over the papers. "Please excuse me, all," she says as she rises. A graceful nod to all, and she departs.

Siv smiles and watches the Baroness go "She's a hell of a lady, isn't she?"

"That and more." He watches her go as well, smiling, then turns back to Siv. "But she is NOT a Lady Captain. Do tell, how have your sails taken you?" He takes up the Baroness's glass and refills it for himself, and settles in to catch up with Siv.

"To the shores of pettiness of late" Siv sighs and admits

He blinks, surprised. "It cannot be. Not my lady captain."

"Oh yes." siv says "I.. well.. my girlfriend thinks I'm being too harsh on folks lately. My boyfriend doesn't agree, he doesn' disagree" She says "And on home level I... seem to be kind of.. well...my parents seem to think I'm ggood for patrols but I feel like I could do more. And.. one of my best friends is getting ann oath of fealty to my mom! And she deserves it! She's great. But.. well, she's never even mentioned taking on knights fealty wise before this"

"Ahhh. I see, I see. Well, there is only one obvious solution."

"Yup. Stop being a petty bitch " She nods "My lovers don' have to agree with me to love me. My mom is RIGHT to pick the best wilder knight and Daggmar deserves the honor and it's HER time. And I can make my own adventures"

"Well, I was going to say, I am certain that your girlfriend is trying to get you down. And that your boyfriend is the worst sort of wishy-washy. And surely thy lady mother wishes only to tie you down from your adventuring life... so the only possible solution would be to run away with me...."

A sigh. "I suppose your conclusion could be taken as approximately accurate as well, though."

She laughs and gives Vince a hug "Thanks, Vicne. I knnnew it was in my head but hearts are.. ack. You know?"

He hugs her back with a grin. "I haven't the slightest idea."

A wink. "if it doesn't work out, my suitcases are always ready."

"I know" she strokes his mane "You're a giver. now how are you, you big lug? You're always solving other folks problems but le's talk about yoU"

"Why, I want for nothing here. Merely a warm pillow in the sun, and a bowl of cream."

"Awww." She says "You're a grea warm pillow yourself, but I do hope you're not bored"

"I shall make entertainment as needed!" He proclaims.

"Good. But you know what, I came here to see how things were going, then maybe shake off the blues and so on. You have my invitation to visit Rivervale sometime if you ever want a change of pace, it's only fair"

"Hm." August looks up from his letter. "Will you excuse me?" He stands. "I think I will make a start on this...." in reference to the papers in his hand.

"Of course, Baron" Siv says "Thanks for taking time for my visit and letting me in on the goings ons"

"A pleasure as always, Lady Captain. Vince, good to see you." And with a nod, he departs.
