Now that the Hollow kadhokes are parked, and there is less risk of a hex causing a major traffic incident...

Zara works a pattern while she watches them through the tattletale. "Karma is a bitch, nu?"

Coradel, watching through the scrying, smiles as they are apprehended. “Oh, nicely sprung, that trap.”

"Methinks they still see the boy he was, not the man he has become. But then, they never saw me..."

“True. Oh...he’s got dross,” she indicates Seneca, willing August to see it. Texting wouldn’t help, would only distract.

A satisfied smile for a moment, then wary. “Don’t, August...not yet.”

Then another smile as he seems to read her mind.

An eyebrow. "More karma than anticipated, that..."

Coradel catches her breath and stares, first at the image, then at Zara. “You...that...?”

“Is he dead?”

"Well, da'an. I don't think so..."

Coradel is moving. “Zara, I’m going to the audience chamber. I hope you will join us for this.”

"Soon. I will not break the spell until they are returned..."

“Yes,” she agrees quickly as she goes.

Emma has been warned by the Baroness' decree!

and Oswald and Rollo are there in case the Dougal is not as injured as he seems

And August, Earl, Bachdion and Mirwin are there

Near the library...so Zara may fuss

"Sir Earl, will you check on Seneca and have him brought as soon as he may do so?"

"Yes" And he mutters "Sorry, may have let them get to me more than they should have" before he starts to head off

August answers with a comradly clasp of his arm before turning to Mirwin. "I'll escort you to the audience chamber, and inform my Lady of your arrival."

"Any orders for me, Baron?" Bachdion bows

The satyr seems to be stressing the barons' rank, likely for Mirwin's reminder

"Keep Mirwin company for the time being, if you would? Thanes should be along momentarily."

"GLadly" Bachdion's rapier is in his hand, his smile shark like on Mirwin

Mirwin says "It was just playing with you.. like old times"

"No." mildly, even serene. "It was not. When I was at Alabaster Hollow, you never took matters outside the Freehold. You didn't involve mortals. Now, please excuse me. I need to determine if you have violated Carnivale Law."

His eyes widen

And Bachdion says "You're not the brightest sidhe, are you Mirwin?"

With Mirwin under watch, Seneca getting healing... August has time for law research. Something he's gotten VERY good at

August nods and leave Mirwin in Bachdion's care. He'll send word to Coradel of their guest's presence and that he is going to research..... ah.... read up on the law.

He enlists Velvet and Tylar in this. Would Seneca and Mirwin's efforts be considered harmful to the monarchs after Carnivale?

And they aid him. Technically, they are no longer monarchs after Carnival, but destroying love can be a form of ravaging. And while it was not in person, they did try that. However it wouldn't really be ravaging as they wouldn't have been there to collect. ON the other hand.. the no revenge rule is not necessarily limited to changelings! Even Usneelie/shadow courts that might sacrifice the king and queen, it's not done for revenge.

Which means them going after the king and queen formers, might qualify as a violation of the revenge clause

He looks over the esccheat again... Right to Dream.. well if no ravaging... then his eyes find one line...

The Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve have the right to dream unhindered by Fae needs. The Dreaming will die if we steal directly from the font. No one is allowed to manipulate the creative process with Glamour. While the fae may inspire creativity, it is forbidden to instruct or infuse humans with Glamour.

Interesting, that might indicate their use of glamour to BREAK the dreamers, even if they weren't ravaging, was a violation

"Yes, liege" Velvet says and hands it over

Izzak's stance would indicate while the second sentence is a stressor where abuse is most likely to arise, the FIRST sentence still can and does stand on it's own.

And they move to do so.. Velvet thrives in moments like these. She loves the hunt of it. Tylar goes at with his kith's efficency

Velvet gasps and waves her hand forgetting decorum, "Liege, take a look at this"

August, carrying a book in his hand and one under his arm, goes over.

A precedent.. Thomas the True, the Bard Kinian, on one Carnival when High King David was on his throne was pestered to speak a prophecy by a pretentious lady of House Gwydion by the name of Ginadenna. Thomas informed the lady it was a time for merriment, not prophecy and declined. She hounded him, until he finally informed her, for he was sworn to speak only the truth, that he could not give her the future, but he would give her the now. Thomas then explained that the reason she could not hold a lover for more than a week was not because she intimidated them, or that her passions were too great, but rather that , much like in her efforts now, she expected others to do all the work and was remarkably selfish in the sheets. Thomas then did predict that rather than learn from this, she would dishonor herself. She was FURIOUS... but kept her Gwydion temper and all thought it done. UNTIL...

a corby of redcaps tried to corner Thomas when he was out and about in NYC a week later. They attempted to thrash him, only for a motely of tourists to come on the scene. The corby was defeated, and captured, it was later learned that Ginadenna had paid the Corby to thrash Thomas. High King David declared her a violator of the Carnival revenge clause and had her banished from Concordia for three years, during which her small hold in Pennsylvania was given to the motley
