A precedent.. Thomas the True, the Bard Kinian, on one Carnival when High King David was on his throne was pestered to speak a prophecy by a pretentious lady of House Gwydion by the name of Ginadenna. Thomas informed the lady it was a time for merriment, not prophecy and declined. She hounded him, until he finally informed her, for he was sworn to speak only the truth, that he could not give her the future, but he would give her the now. Thomas then explained that the reason she could not hold a lover for more than a week was not because she intimidated them, or that her passions were too great, but rather that , much like in her efforts now, she expected others to do all the work and was remarkably selfish in the sheets. Thomas then did predict that rather than learn from this, she would dishonor herself. She was FURIOUS... but kept her Gwydion temper and all thought it done. UNTIL...
