She herself helps to carry Bondraste to the little antechamber off of the throne room.

"That's enough attempted bloodsport for now!" the Fiona baroness says cheerfully to Adam.

Bachdion says "You startled her lad"

Adam follows with the naked blade in hand.

Nab isn' done "NO. You knnow the importance of Oathing. You don't just do it willy nilly. And what the heck were you going to Oath for? "

Alanza agrees "Adam? ?"

"I've taken an Oath before! Yes, I know how important they are!! You have to let me. I'd rather it be this sword but I can find a knife if I need one!"

"Yes??" that to Alanza.

"Adam, what exactly were you going to swear?"

"And no, don't TAKE the oath to say it, but what?"

"I'm going to kill every willworker I find, with or without an Oath." grimly "May as well let me get some benefit from it."

Bachdion winces

Coradel has gone inside the antechamber with the granddame, beckoning Delores to keep the guests distracted with another round of food and drink.

Magnus more openly groans

Jodfrey frowns and looks at the two awake mentors "I thoughtt you said he was trained?"

"He IS" Bachdion says "Adam, do you nnot remember that some of the willworkers are ALLIES? that the Hidden Ones hunt them too?"

"Wait.. why are you trying to avenge me when I'm HERE?" Nabuni the sword says

Delores moves "Drinks? Food? Enjoy"

"Because you -weren't-. Aren't? Whatever!" and he turns to Bachdion "So I've been told Sir, yes."

In the antechamber, Coradel makes sure that Bondraste is comfortable and, if conscious, assures her that Adam is quite alive and unharmed. "For now," she adds, then pushes a strong drink into Bondraste's hand before stepping back out into the group with a beaming smile.

"If the boy declared war on all Willworkers, he'd be a danger to any hold he was in. Breaking treaties by his actions against mages that were on our side" Says the Namer

"Oh, yes, yes, she's well, just had a moment, a deeply-felt moment," she assures concerned attendees. "Please, she'll be fine, and surely the other newly sained must be celebrated! Music, please!" she calls to the bards. And she makes her smiling way over to where Adam, his other two mentors, and the namer stand.

"Weren't aren't..." Nabuni says "Adam, this is me! You jackass! "

August catches a glance from Coradel and does his best to help people mingle. Not really his wheelhouse, but he tries.

Oh, her smile is especially beam-y as she draws close. Through those dazzlingly brilliant teeth, she quietly says to Adam, "You're an idiot."

Kyle stands nearby.

Then she says a bit more loudly for the onlookers, "Would Adam and his mentors please join Granddame Bondraste as she recovers?" And she gracefully directs them to the antechamber.

"Yes, Baroness." the boy agrees as he follows direction to the antechamber, naked blade still in his hand.

"And sheathe that," she hisses again through the smile, adding, "Sorry, Nabuni."

Jodfrey frowns and bows.

"Oh, Namer Jodfrey, I'll return in just a moment!"

Adam sheaths the blade.

Jodfrey says "Baroness... take what time you must , of course. the naming of these three is done"

But the Namer still looks upset.

As does Coradel, if one knows how to read her.

As soon as they're in the antechamber and the door is closed, her smile vanishes. "I should have had you wait another year-and-a-day, at least!"

Magnus and Bachdion move to the side of the resting Grand Dame

"I thought you'd be happy to see me" The sword speaks despite scabbared, the lionhead moving now

"It wouldn't have changed anything, Baroness." firmly "I want revenge on the ones that took Nab away from me." he looks at the sword hilt "And I'd like to know how it is you're talking to me now."

"Did you know this was his agenda?" she demands of all three mentors.

"Sometimes, Adam, on Togials.. and Saining, the Dreaming gifts one. Remember the Namer hinted as much?" Magnus reminds

"They did not."

Bachdion says "If I did... I might have slapped him right hard"

"Yes, Sir. I remember."

Magnus says "Then you answer your own question. "

Coradel paces, her arms folded, and glares at Adam, angry lioness incarnate.

"the Dreaming asked your soul what you wanted. You wanted Nab. and she returned. was reborn.. "

"I am this close..." with a pinching gesture in the air "...to asking the Namer to undo it."

Magnus continues "And what you're doing smacks of ingratitude on a level I cann' even..."

Nabuni says "Adam...why are you upset to see me back?"
