August pays off any due donuts and they take his Prius to EarthRunes.

He bounces in the seat a bit, but does put on the seat belt as they drive off. He maybe deaf but he seems to enjoy the 'feel' of the .. oh ,it's a prius. Okay, he's imaginging the feel of the power of the engine

And August drives responsibly.

The boy moves side to side as if imagining them in a car chase

They arrive and August parks, then leads the boy up to the doors and into the Freehold. There, August's Sidhe-ness and Liam-ness are all the more evident.

It would appear his imagination can improve on anything. The enter in and he looks around , and says 'Wow' in a sloppy way, but it's a wow

New person! One of the sisters (11) drops down on a silken thread to watch.

He points and gives the sign for Spider. He doesn't seem scared.. just interested.

To 11, well... this is interesting. The boy weaves the air with his hands?

11 preens. She IS a spider!

The boy says hello, gives his name, it's rushed... lacking in some expertise, but it's very much like spider baby talk to 11

"That is one of the Librarian's spiders, I believe." August says. "We treat them with respect."

And he writes this down, as well.

SHe lands on the boy, and taps out a morse "hello"

He writes back Spiders are excellent in many stories. I am not african ,but have you heard of Anasi?

Then the boy grins, and actually smiles and taps back. He cannot hear morse, but he can feel it, and it seems he learned. He has had many adventurres

Anansi is a big fine cousin of 11!

Oh, it seems this one is a chatterbox...

August may realzie he has just lost the boy's focus.

Because now it's all about listening to the spider's stories and sharing his own.

He waits patiently.

Then he blushes , and lowers his mask "Sorryyy"

August takes his own mask off. "Can you read lips?"

He nods and makes the sign for 'a little'

"Welcome to EarthRunes." and he writes it down, too.

"Come with me?"

He focues in the lips and nods and writes back 'Yes. THank you. Nice to be here. I want to see a lot but I can just look around' then he taps in morse Nice meeting you, 11, I'm your cousins biggest fan and can see how you are related. You tell good stories too

"I'd like to have my squire Tylar, or Velvet, show you around if I may?"

He nods, lip reading is harder for him but he can do it

August writes down the names of his squires, and they go to find one or both.

SOon Tylar is found, and happy to assit the lad. Showing him a tour of sorts. Nadhir the Bountiful is happy
