And so it is, that Zara might , on her way from the library, a boggan carrying some of her things in the hallway

Her antique clock with thirteen hours, one of the first paintings Earl gave her, that large quill pen made of vulture feather...

"Ah... Maisry? Pardon, what are you doing with my things?"

"Oh it's no trouble, Miss Zara.. pardon ,Mrs Zara? We'll find a way to fit all into the garret"

A crease between her pale brows. "I am not... Pray, why are you trying to take all of my things to the garret?"

"Well, you're ... you and Earl tied the knot of course. Couples stay together. I mean, Magnus and Claire share a room, and The Baroness and Baron, and so on. It's what truehearts do " Maisry is a bit of a victorian character herself, a maid who is very good at her job but leans towards traditions others may not expect. However she's clearly NOT alone in this. For here comes charity with another box

"Aye, but I am not... we... my room is private!"

"But.. your room IS his room, and his room is yours, m'lady" Maisry says

Charity pauses and tilts her head "Madame Librarian, I have a few boxes here, we just left them closed as you're such a private person and all and figured you could open them to your liking in the garret room. Did you want us to find different boxes instead? Save space?"

"I.. I would like my things back in my room..."

Oh dear god, a third boggan! Rollo, carrying furniture. Not her secretary desk!

"Tthat's where it's going" Maisry says "YOur and Mr. earl's room"

"Oh, a parade!" Coradel smiles as she approaches the group.

Charity however says "Wait, I think she's asking..." Then she sees the Baroness and bows

"I... " Flustered.

"Hi, Boss" Rollo says under a desk "I'd bow but it might hurt this weird desk"

"It might indeed. Moving day?" she asks Zara.

"It is very delicate, it should stay where it was... if you please, I... I am not... I need..."

Zara tangles her fingers together. "Am I to lose my accomodation?"

Maisry says "Oh yes, Baroness, the happy couple moving intogether and..."

Maistry just seems to find it delightful to have this symbol of union and to be a part of it

Charity however lets it sink in "Oh dear. So THIS is what Ivanka was trying to tell us"

"Lose your..." She looks at the boggans' burden, then back to Zara. "They didn't ask you where you wanted your things?"

Maisry seems confused "But... this is the way"

"What is?" Coradel asks Maisry.

"I understand, my room is at your discretion, aye, but.. but..."

Maisry says "Well, truehearts live together so we thought we would.. would"

Charity says "We were trying to help the young couple, Baroness. But I'm afraid we may have overstepped without realizing. Ivanka tried to warn us but we didn't understand"

Coradel gives Maisry a look. "Doesn't the Baron have a room of his own, besides the one he and I share?"

"Oh, well, we don't speak of THAT room, Baroness... not openly because it's well.. regarding.. encounters?"

She nods to Charity. "I think in general, when a sluagh's belongings are in question, Ivanka's advice should guide your actions."

Maisry does squirm

Zara pinks!

"It.. no! I just... I have... tis... "

Charity blushes lightly "I will apologize to her promptly. We just thought Librarian Zara would like to be closer to her trueheart and vice versa as a rule"

Coradel's eyes BLAZE at Maisry. "Whomever else may enter that room at the Baron's behest, it is also his study, his private domain, and his to do with as he chooses. He has that right, and it is not one to be looked at askance!"

"Of course I wish to be close to Earl, but... but.. I need..."

Maisry almost wimpers "Begging pardon, great lady"

"You need that which is yours," Coradel says, defending Zara's rights as she sees them. "Now...do you wish your belongings to stay in your current room? Or perhaps to move them to a room closer to the garret?"

She has turned pointedly away from Maisry.

She wavers. "A closer room, aye, would not be objectionable..."

"Well.." Charity says "There's the dungeon area under the garret tower ,and then there's that little side room which is fine but for the odd slant"

"Then I propose this...Charity, please oversee these items being returned to there previous location for now. Then Zara will have an opportunity to tour the options and decide which serves best."

"...a little crooked room?"

"If she decides to relocate her belongings, Ivanka shall be in charge of overseeing the process."

She shoots Coradel a grateful look.

Charity says "Yes, lady." And she says "Baroness... if I might? If you're to punish Maisry, you should punish me as well. I was as clueless and as eager to 'help' as she"

Coradel smiles a bit at Zara's tone, and nods in response to the look. "You should go see it. I'm not familiar with it, myself."

"I joined in too, boss" Rollo says

"I... I appreciate... the spirit in which it was intended." Zara offers.
