He does chuckle , "I love your family , but honestly how are they LOUDER than my family and that short?"

"Lots and lots of practice."

"Okay, I think we might be ready to face the world. Surely, the hold must be easier than my family."

"It's a Fiona hold, they eat this stuff up" He kisses her "Problem with them will be a swarm of well wishes that might get embarrassing after a bit, but that's why the Dreaming made portal passage. We'll side step to any hall you want"

"Fair enough. Mayhaps we see if Jack and Vince have champagne?"

"I would love that" And he takes her arm, and they open the door of the library

The corridor appears empty, but Zara might hear footfalls

Well, there are the spiders

"Hello, ladies - you were excellent guardians."

They are pleased by the praise

and rather enjoyed spooking some of the few leggers

And music can be heard... down the hall, from the balefire area

Earl looks..curious. " I know it's valentine's day but I didn't think there was any other party planned"

Zara twines her fingers with Earl's. "We should investigate."

Coradel's voice can be heard softly with the music, but not loud enough for Zara to make out the details.

"As you like, my trueheart. " he moves her along, and his mood is so giddy he actually says 'Sneak sneak sneak" as they close . Mind you he says it quietly, but he still says it

Another rustle of giggles. "Earl!"

Zara may hear sounds that suggest several people in the room, and the music playing....

Zara creeps up and peeks into the room.

They're watching for her, so she may not evade notice...and it is thus that the quietest chorus of "Hoorayyy!" ever to be heard is breathed around the room by a cluster of EarthRunes' in habitants as they toss handfuls of flower petals in the air!

August is there, and tosses some petals, but looks confused.

Earl breaks into a grin

Zara pinks, but smiles.

She raises her hand in a tiny wave.

The music is softer than feathers

Coradel steps forward. "Earl, Zara, I know what I felt earlier, but perhaps you could verify for everybody else?" Though Zara's lacy white dress and Earl's suit may be a dead giveaway.

Zara bobs her head and gives Earl's hand a squeeze.

Earl says "Ladies and gentlemen, Good friends of Earth Runes. We stand before you tonight, as sworn Truehearts. "

August's mouth drops open.

More flower petals float through the air at the announcement, some tossed by onlookers, others seem to be spontaneous contributions of the hold itself.

Delores beams! "Oh wonderful"

Zara is very much sheltering beside Earl, but not totally hidden. But then... sluagh.

Flowers fall into earl's hair first, as he is taller, so he might resemble the world's lankiest umbrella

"Well..." Coradel smiles "...I think I speak for many when I say, It's about time!" She comes close and bends to kiss Zara's cheek, whispering "You look so lovely" and then stretching up to give Earl a kiss on the cheek as well. "Congratulations!"

Oswald makes a victorious chewbacca sound

"Vashti made it."

"Oathed?"

"Non, non - Q'plah!" Emma helps!

Earl nods and looks to Zara "yes. It was perfect"

"Thank you. And... and I hope all here may share our joy?"

August almost looks like he's waiting for a translator.

"What better wish could you offer us," Coradel says with appreciation.

Then she turns and notes August's expression. A gentle sigh. I hope we didn't break him. She goes to take his hand (and check his pulse).

Velvet whispers something, zara might hear "may you haunt each other for many happy decades"

"Oh, aye. Mine ghost shall torment him so!"

Coradel whispers to August, "They oathed, my love. I hope you knew they would."

"Oathed?" he asks Coradel even as she confirms it.

"Oathed, yes."
