"Yes. And learned some important things. Like ... The Mets are God's Chosen team"

"But don't say that too loudly around Miriam"

TXT: Well, then, you want the shanda at our farm, Scarsdale, or Earth Runes?

Earl observes the texting over her shoulder "Oh good lord. Your Uncles. My aunts. "

"Yes. My uncles, and Miriam. And DeBukes."

"Mama and Papa should come, too..."

"Mama and Agnes get along."

"Right ... so, is it unknightly to grab my trueheart and flee to Prague? Asking for a friend" He mutters

"Well... it would make them happy. We could get them started, then slip off to the grotto..."

"Good idea. I want at least two escape plans though" And he pulls her into his lap as they talk

TXT: Farm, I think

"So, we can flickerflash to Prague, or hide in the grotto, or... oh... mayhaps turn invisible and watch them all from safety?"

"Not sure...depends on if our Uncles play seek. They're really powerful in their own ways.. but yes... maybe" Cautious, then a look at her then a smile "mmm and if you want to. I know you love snooping" He ponders "This IS a bit like being able to see one's own funeral... not funeral but you know what i mean. If you were to scry them now that they're getting the news, I wonder..."

"Ohhhh...."

She sparkles, and curiosity wins.

And Earl adores that it does

And so, she putters about to set up her silver bowl for scrying.

A face, but she answers - while watching the Uncles fuss.

A supportive squeeze .

"It was wonderful" He says happily as she whispers how it was perfect

And he can't help but hear a squawk "Oh dear"

Then it all seems to get LOUD "Need me to jump in there?"

Zara squirms, frowning as she juggles calls.

Earl tries to start a party line so he can get in

Zara's eyes well up.

Earl ponders, then ggently takes the phone if he can "Here, love. Let me?"

"I thought they'd be happy..."

"They might just be. Nockers do like to fuss." He takes the phone and says gently into it "Hello, folks. It's Earl. Thank you for sharing in our joy and wishing us well. Your support means so much to us, particularly Zara"

He covers the phone then looks up. It would appear their song bird is peeking over his shoulder "Of COURSE you're curious" A smile though, and a look to Zara "We have a curious oath bird"

"...aye." A strained smile, and she reaches to stroke its feathers.

The raven leans into it, comforting her it seems

Indeed, it seems Earl's phone is lighting up a bit but for now he ignores the DeBuke side of things

The tingle of scrying...

Uncle Emmit maybe making sure all is okay here?

Or perhaps under orders to make sure the phone isn't broke

Zara gives a LOOK to the scrying eye!

She can almost smell pipe smoke and see a glimmer of amusement...but it pops

Zara checks the scry - but all the distractions seems to have broken it.

"Whew" Earl says as the call ends

Zara collapses against Earl, rattling in a sound that is probably laughter.
