"Of course," she says thoughtfully, "now I must determine what to call her now that I can no longer call her Miss Zara."

"I'm glad," Magnus says "Thank you again. I believe you get a chance to slip again to Earl now. Unless you want me to hand you off to Vince"

He blinks. "I hadn't.... Will she take Earl's name? Or.... ??"

"Oh... I must needs spare a dance for the Lion later. But to My Love, now!"

"As the lady commands" And soon Magnus and Leonora are chaninging partners, leaving SLuagh and troll reunited

"I haven't pried," Coradel says to August. "I didn't want to wind her any more tightly than she was already wound...she might have sprung, and then the oathing might not have happened for nerves!"

"We will sort it all out in time."

"I... I imagine she'll tell us? Eventually?"

The party is a quiet one, soft, and yet laughter bubbles now and then, irrepressible but kind. Sluagh worthy foods in purple displays, other foods more openly and easily accessed.

And Earl kisses Zara as soon as she's back in his arms "My star back in view"

A soft murmur of "Awww!" from those who caught that kiss. A rare sight between these two!

there are many valentine's days, and Earth Runes had and will have some doozies, but many will remember the night they all celebrated the Librarian taking a particular selection 'out of circulation' to keep for her own. As for him? He'd been checking out the librarian from the start.
