Bachdion nods "Satyrs tend to.. feel it sharp and swift... hard for me to judge how you're holding on, how much time you need, but do you think, hurt or no, you're ready for saining?"

"I know I -want- to be Sained. I don't know how it could hurt. The Seer suggested that date as one of the best ones; would he do that if it were a bad idea to be Sained?"

"As far as being ready... I think so. Isn't it more critical what -you- think? You and Sir Magnus and GrandDame Bondraste?"

"Well, he only looked for auspicious dates -- not whether you were ready or not, Adam," Coradel points out.

"True, Baroness. But still, would he have found auspicious dates if it were a bad idea? If I weren't ready?"

"He never said it would be auspicious for you. Adam..." A glance to Bachdion, and then she continues. "Saining can be...well, it can be a somewhat rigorous experience. Unexpected things might happen. It's not just a coming-out party."

"Personally, I'm eager to push you to have it happen, but it will be a more courageous act if you understand it can be a risky event to meet your true self."

Bachion ponders "I think he's ready.. or close to it, Baroness. Yes, it might be complicated, but.. then NOT being sained and in pain like this might be just as bad"

"Also true," Coradel nods to Bachdion. "There, Adam. One down." She makes a checkmark in the air, and winks. "I trust you can convince the others as well."

"I need to tell them about the wake, as well."

"Oh, the wake, what are the plans for that, exactly?"

"Yes, you were saying about the wake?" she sips her beer.

"On the 5th, starting at 7. It's open to everyone. Food, drink, music. Orgy around 10."

Bachdion ggapes a the boy, and his eyes start to wet

"Oh boy," Jack says and gets everyone their drinks

Coradel blinks.

"Well...now I am impressed."

"It's what she would want."

"You've alerted the Steward to make preparations?"

"I'm so damn proud I could burst" Bachdion finally says

Coradel gives Bachdion a very fond smile.

"Yes, Baroness. And thank you Sir. It's what she would want." he repeats.

"I believe that's true." A thought. "Open to everyone?"

"You're right on that" he admits "that little lady would have made a great satyress. Empathic, joyful, passionate"

"Yes, but obviously later in the evening wouldn't be for childlings." Adam agrees. "And yes. She did make a great satyress." He takes a good drink of whatever it is Jack brought.

"Well, I imagine August will want to stop in for the first part, at least for a bit."

"It would be an honor."

"Well, then..." She finishes her drink. "I will leave you to the rest of your planning. I promised Samson a ride, and I don't want to disappoint him." She smiles at both as she stands, and Bachdion gets another light kiss. Then she looks to Adam. "I am very pleased. You are doing well." She says it with a serious look, not flippantly. And then she's on her way, another flirtatious wave to Jack for fun.

Adam takes another drink.

Jack winks at her "Never envied a horse before. Later, Coradel"

"I suppose I should find Sir Magnus and GrandDame." Adam says.

"Wan me to go with you, Adam?" the satyr asks

Well his mentor

"I don't mean to pull you away, Sir." honestly.

"Adam, sometimes I worry there's a wall between us, and I hope I didn't help build it. " He says "I care about you, lad. You're a good fellow and I am truly proud of who you are. It's no trouble" He assures and rises

"Thank you." he stands as well, and together they go in search of the other two. Adam -does- stop to chug the rest of his drink before they go.

Bachdion drinks down the last of his own and they are off

And find Magnus in his office

Adam taps at the door.

"Ah. oh ..u hm come in" Magnus says

Adam enters.

"Sir." in greeting.

Magnus looks a bit stunned

but not at them.. more. jus stupiefied today "Oh hey ah..can I get you both anything?"

Adam looks at Sir Bachdion to see if he wants anything.

"No no, I'm fine. But are you, Sir Magnus? You seem a bit distracted"

"mm distr. oh ah.. no no I mean. I'm fine" The sidhe says "How about you, Adam?"

"Working on it, Sir."

"I mean can I get you anything?"
