And word gets out, the Wake is on!

And the word is, the Wake will be Woke.

So woke.

Leonora beams with relief "Thank goodness." She wipes her eyes

"We're on?" Stevi says when told

"Yes. Would you consider performing?"

"Try and stop me"

And a BIG Hug "Okay. What songs do you want played? What did she like?"

He hands her the playlist. "Some of these remind me of her. Some I know other people had a connection with her on. And some she liked."

"You'll get them , Gideon will join in.. a least on the first part"

Adam nods. "I don't expect everyone will stay the whole night. Not everyone's thing."

"I'll see if I can loosen him up" Stevi winks "And maybe you and I can celebrate how she would have wanted. You know?"

"Maybe."

"Maybe.. hey.. you're allowed to step back early too"

Adam nods. "I know."

"There'll be invitations but... well, really, everyone's welcome."

"Open ... warm friendly and kind. Yeah, it's her"

Adam nods. "Yes. Anyway. Glad to know I'll see you there. Thanks."

He gets a quick kiss

He kisses her cheek back.

"The pain that you feel, only can heal... by living" She sings softly, then steps back

Adam nods, and keeps moving to share the word.

The sound of booted feet coming down the hall, and there's Coradel in a riding habit, heading for the stables.

"Baroness." He bows.

"Adam," she nods. "I'll be sending word today to the Count in search of a namer for your saining. It's short notice, but I think all will be well."

"Thank you."

She pauses. "Oh...have you spoken to Sir Bachdion about it yet?"

"No, Baroness. I'm sort of looking for him. The... wake is organized. It's the 5th." (In 2 days.)

"Oh! You are moving ahead. That's good. Well, let's seek out Bachdion together to speak of the other matter." She heads towards wherever she thinks she's most likely to find him....probably Jack's.

"So, the wake...will it be a somber affair?" She glances at his still-black clothes.

Jack's is open. And sure enough there's Bachdion, a satyress on his lap.

Jack is at the bar

"Teacher mine!" she calls out before Adam can answer her question. "Perfect." A nod to the satyress.

Adam nods to all the satyrs. "Sir. Hello, Jack. Miss."

"Jack, you're looking especially handsome today," Coradel flirts lightly with a wink.

"Hey.. looks like you're wanted" The satyress kisses Bachdion onn the lips and slips off

"Ah yes. " Bachdion says and bows

Jack says "Thanks. I've been working out. I'm lifting PINTS now"

"Oh, you don't need to leave. I don't wish to deprive him, and we may be brief." She assures the satyress.

"Can you lift a round of those over here, then?" Coradel asks Jack as she helps herself to a seat.

Jack chuckles

And says "coming right up"

The satyress blows a kiss at Bachidon, then says "Oh it's all right, Baroness. I like the chase. Or..rather being chased" And she slips off

Adam quietly takes a seat nearby.

"Adam, Baroness, how are you?" Bachdion says

"Oh, wonderful, for myself." She leans across the table and kisses his cheek before settling again. "Teacher mine, a question about Adam's saining." She gets right to it. "The seer has recommended a certain date..." she lets Adam fill in the blank (as her player has forgotten it), and I want to make sure you, as his teacher, think he is ready."

A smile and a nod to the satyress as she clip-clops away.

Bachdion enjoys th ekiss and then he says "Ah, I admit, I worry about Adam feeling up for anything of late, but it was nice to see him at least walking with Imbolc" A look to Adam "Adam, you're hurting"

"The 21st of this month." Adam supplies. "Yes, Sir. I am."
