Adam drains his glass.

"And to the friend." Coradel nods and finishes her glass. She doesn't refill Adam's again, but it's within reach if he wishes.

He does not reach. Yet.

"A good friend" Zane says "Always willing to listen"

"I think she learned a lot from that. How to be more." Sadly.

"The desire to be more, to grow, isn't always a safe path, but it does make one memorable," Coradel observes.

"I'd remember her no matter what. I saw her first. Before being enchanted, or anything.... she was first."

"So...in a way, she helped form you."

"She envied us" Leonora approaches and picks up a glass "Thought Changelings had the most amazing adventures"

"Dame....." Adam stands, bows.

"She was my most amazing adventure." He chokes up, and sits.

Coradel looks over and gives Leonora a fond smile. "I thought you might be summoned by this."

"I was" Leonora says then nods to Adam "To Nabuni, an amazing adventure"

Zane is a satyr, so some tears are leaking

Adam nods.

Coradel smiles and nods. "There it is."

Bachdion nods "perhaps it is fitting this day we drink to her. A short day, with a long night, but each night after this will be a little shorter, the brightness, we hope, a bit longer. And renewal in the air"

"Sir. Baroness. May I ask a question?" rough-voiced.

"Of course, Adam."

"If I wanted to ... gather those that meant something to her. And meant she meant something to... may I?"

Bachdion looks to the Baroness, he yields to her in this. And sees no problem with it besides

"I don't see a problem with this," the Fiona says easily. "I suspect many of them are here already. Gather for a celebration of her, you mean?"

"I don't know yet." he admits quietly "Maybe. If something else is planned then.... fine."

"I...have a rather impulsive idea. I'm not sure if it's in keeping with what you'd like. But...what if we dedicated Carnivale to Nabuni's memory? Or at least make a point of honoring her as part of the celebration?"

"That's... very generous, My Lady. She would be honored."

"Mind you, it will be a raucous occasion. If you're hoping for somber on her behalf, you won't get it, at least not from everybody."

A shrug. Then "I... don't know how to celebrate it, My Lady. Not like this."

"Heck, I was thinking we could wear devil horn hats for her wake" Leonora says "I think she would have laughed"

"She would." a weak grin to Leonora.

"I believe she would. Has a wake been set?"

"No, Lady. There's been some.... questions on that."

"We were leaving it up to Adam." Leo admits

"Questions? Like what?"

"I haven't planned anything. But I've heard my choice of date is key. I resent that anyone else plans this." a pause and he manages "Nab was my bonded Chimera. My love, my lover, and my friend. Who else dares?"

"No one plans it" A confused look from Leonora

"You were bonded...but if others knew and loved her, they'll also need closure. That is the way of our hearts, Adam. Be kind to them all as well as yourself. Choose a date. I will help it happen."

"Yes, Baroness."

"I don't want anyone else involved."

"I mean.... not at first. Not planning."

Coradel gives him a look. "If that's what you want, you best get to work."

He gives her a look back, perhaps for the first time. "It is what I want. In due course."

She gives him a look back in response. "You want others to suffer without closure until you decide the time is right?"

"I think we live through what hurts when we're ready."

"True. And I ask you again to be kind and keep in mind that others may be ready before you are. A shared ceremony would be kind for all...and then you might still need time to process on your own thereafter. But..." Coradel shrugs. "You will do as you wish. I am sure others will remember her privately when it comes to them to do so."

"Yes."

"We all have memories of her."

Leonora sighs "Good memories"

Adam reaches his hand out to Leonora.

Coradel nods. "Again, you all knew her better than I, but what I knew of her, I liked. She was sweet."
