He wraps arms about her "And you look magnificent"

"Oh, I shall get thine velvet damp..." She fusses.

"since when have I minded damp?" he tells her

"True." She stretches up to steal a kiss. "But I am scandalously so. I must needs dress."

A kiss returned "Well, if one must, one must. I will protect you from the Shanda" And he offers his profile for her to hide behind as they go in

"Very chilly," Coradel observes as they come back in out of the cold. She is dressed for the holiday in a gown that favors the gold more than the red of her house. "And yet you've been swimming?" she asks about Zara's dampened appearance.

"Ah,Baroness" Earl says. "Happy Imbolc"

"In my River, aye. Imbolc imbues certain magical properties on running water..."

"And to you, Sir Earl!" she smiles. Then a nod to Zara. "I've heard this. I hope you made good use of it while getting positively moist."

Zara was already pink!

"Ah.. aye. And thus, I should change..." Her hand seeks Earl's.

"Pardon us, Baroness. " He says "My lady has demands and thus I have a happy task"

"Oh, don't let me delay those demands, go!" She smiles and waves them away.

"Good Imbolc, Lady Coradel." Zara well-wishes, before turning to her chamber. Violets sprout in her wake.

And Earl acts as a shield for her

as they go off to let her change

Coradel watches them go, and smiles at the little burst of flowers in her footsteps. "Lovely..." she murmurs with a pleased sigh.

And a flash and Bachdion appears. With him, a bald sidhe in black, and a slightly faded wilder satyr

Adam staggers, less than usual. He takes the magic easier, now.
"Thank you, Sir."
Adam takes in a breath, holding it a moment, then a slow exhale.

"Ah! Teacher Mine...and Zane, hello. And...oh..." A blink. "Adam? I had heard of the change, but...well..." A courteous nod. "Well met, in your new nature."

"Baroness." He bows. "Thank you."

Zane says "Yeah, Adam 's destiny is here."

"An interesting way of putting it, Zane." She looks at Adam again, curious. Then she sighs and says, "I did hear about Nabuni. I'm very sorry she is no longer with you."

Adam lifts his chin. "Thank you, Baroness." it's clear he hurts.

"Hm. Come, let's all sit by the balefire a bit. She may be a bit dimmed until the brand arrives, but I think she will enjoy our company." She leads them to the balefire and has some chairs set out for all of them.

Adam would excuse himself but..... he follows.

Sits quietly.

They follow along, Zane too. He blinks as a Moth pooka walks by, and sizes him up, then leaves

Coradel requests that spiced wine be brought for all of them. Then she says, "I'm sorry it all happened while I was away. Awful timing. I suppose you've all had a chance to mourn." She notes, of course, Adam's attire, but directs the comment to the others as well.

"Not.. quite" Zane says "I just found out"

Adam was just about to speak, and then nods agreement to Zane's assessment.

"Oh. I'm so sorry, Zane. And Bachdion, I don't know how well you knew her."

Bachdion says "I had the pleasure of watching her grow. I think she was good friends with Leonora"

"She was." softly "They were lovers and friends."

"Mm." She accepts the wine brought by a boggan, taking her glass and making sure others have theirs before saying, "To our memories of Nabuni," and raising her glass.

Adam raises a tear-stained face and salutes with his glass. "To Nabuni."

He swallows every drop.

"Too Nabuni" others raise glasses and toast too

Adam sets down his glass, sitting back in his chair.

He looks... dull. Not the energetic boy some might know.

The carafe was left here, so Adam gets another glass.

"I can't say I knew here nearly as well as any of you. Tell me what you think she'd have liked me to know about her."

Zane says "I think it depends on when you met her. When she started she was just .. well, a sex dream? I'm all for those" he says without shame "But she had fewer layers?"

"She...."

"... yes. She learned. She developed. She -grew-, Baroness. She was more than when she started. She learned to love. She Loved me. We Loved each other." His eyes well up. "She had other friends, too. Other lovers. She deserved so much more."

"To the sex dream," Coradel toasts again at Zane's description.

"And to the lover." Another toast.

"To what Nab was." he counters, lifting his (new filled) glass.
