Veronica looks amused "And if I were to ask the boggans the same question?"

"They would say they were equal, methinks."

"It's good they have goals an ambitions" Velvet adds

"Aye, tis."

"Now, boggans should not be underestimated."

"my own boyfriend is a boggan, and he is quite sly when he needs to be. I should grow bored with him otherwise" Velvet declares

She nods. "They are most subtle, and very skilled with the soft arts of social dynamics."

"Useful" The Rusalka says

"Treat them with respect, be polite, but do not fawn."

"Respect their domain." A sigh. "Though it can be frustrating that they insist on serving. They will learn and respect preferences. I am very glad Miss Ivanka was able to stay on..."

"Yes, she's.. kinian yes? Mortal blooded?"

"Fae blooded, but no fae spirit"

She nods. "She has sluagh in her family - fairly strong, too."

"My parents are kinain. Papa has nocker blood, Mama, nocker and boggan both."

"Is that typical?" She asks "To have such a mix of family bloodlines?"

She shakes her head. "Usually, souls follow blood. Troll kinain are more likely to have troll children. Kinain can be mixed in a way kithain are not, or some have fae blood but the kith cannot be determined."

"Some, strongly blooded, my have magical gifts - some may cast cantrips, others may see the fae world when unenchanted."

"Fascinating"Veronica says "Now, you mentioned nocker relations? Tell me about Nockers? I've met Kylie. She seems strong willed, and taltented, but frustrated. She says she's still a fledge though"

"Nockers shall ever and always be frustrated. They strive for perfection, yet nothing in the world may ever be thus."

"And they are looud" A sigh from Velvet

"And they will fuss, and fuss, and tweak, and tweak.. but there will always be a flaw. Usually, it is a minor thing. But to the creator? Nay, unforgivable. And in their frustration, they.. ah. Are loud, yes."

An amused look from Veronica "I take it they have little humor regarding their work"

"They can be sensitive."

"But they do have humor in other things. And consider insults a kind of art form and competition."

"I shall remember" SHe nods "Ah, what of the satyrs?"

"Satyrs are as changeable as the water. What they feel in the moment they feel most sincerely - but it may change in an instant."

"They are creatures of passion, and have ways of loosening inhibitions - but think not they are ones to take advantage. Most satyrs would be in a fury at one who would abuse in a sexual manner, and may well apply that untempered emotion on the offender in the form of wrath."

Velvet blushes "We sluagh do nota lways understand them, and vice versa, but the ones at Earth Runes are good folk I must say"

"Sluagh and Satyrs are oft on opposite ends of demonstrative miens. Satyrs like pleasure of the flesh, and loud music, and rich feasts, and raucous parties."

"But they also love music, and history, and debate. Bachdion is a wonderful conversationalist, and knows not to speak too loudly."

"Oh yes, though he admits he was more boisterous as a wilder. Still, he's a teacher, and that taught him patience I think" Velvet nods "Stevi is much more ... well... sporadic?"

"Stevi should admit how fond she is of her fellow troubadour."

"I thought she had" A blush from Velvet

"Ah, you mean admit her feelings beyond her ..ah pleasures" the squire blushes more

"I suspect Tyler has some insights, there."

"And those hold is more.. romantically inclined than most?" Veronica says "Because of the Silver Lion?"

She nods. "Aye. Fiona are like satyrs writ large."

"And Bachdion, of course, is Fiona AND satyr."

"But... they respect my Library, and not all romance need be so flashy or physical..."

"Indeed" Velvet blushes and sips

Veronica says "There is power in desire used to lure I.." A blink "Pardon. I'm clearly being too abrupt for both of you. Tell me more of the Pooka? "

"Pooka..." A sigh. "Pooka are wise fools. But oft play buffoon."

"They can be so infuriating" Velvet says
