"Nah." a shrug "I'd rather ride or practice with weapons."

"Those are fun too... " He nods "Shame you lost basketball. I feel.. responsible for that" he sighs

"I didn't prepare you for how cantrips aren't perfec, that they can fail.. not properly. and that among other things brought you down."

"It's no big deal, really. I'm not going to college, so I don't need to play. I have other things to work on now."

"Basketball would be.... a distraction."

"Adam... " A look at him "If basketball brings you joy, it's not a distraction, it's a .. a part of who you are"

"It did. But I want to do other things now. Ride, and fence, and .... stuff like that. Like the challenge course."

"mmm okay... but I hate the idea you had to lose something to gain something"

A shrug. "Maybe I didn't. But I'm just.... like they say, prioritizing differently now."

"All right." they move pas the statues "Does that mean you aren't going to be interested in art because there's no room for it?"

"Sir, if it's part of my studies, I'll do it." he says with dedication "... But also, I get how it... like.... gives me different experiences. Different .... views."

A smile at that "Wise thing to say there"

A shrug and grin.

"Now, you might like this..." another statue, this one of a dragon and a knight in battle.

Ooo, his eyes do light up. "Cool." And he takes a turn around it for a 360 view.

Every angle is detailed, the scuplter did rivets in the armor

"Woah.... " the realism surely has his attention.

"the scale work on the dragon is amazing too" He nods

"Yeah....." he breathes.

"This is, like....."

The satyr smiles "like?"

"Like... a fight, frozen? And you can maybe pick it apart and see who's going to win? Or where the strong points are, the weak ones?" He ducks down, peering up at the dragon's underside.

"One could perhaps do just that, ssee who the artist expected to win. Sometimes, things like this tell us about the artist too. "

Adam is searching the dragon's tummy. "I mean... and just to do all this detail.... the artist had to be, like, inspired?"

"he was. " A nod "All you s ee here, are from Dreamers, and most mused by kithain. It's HIS talent, his vision, but sometime in the past- a changeling gave him the nudge."

"Oh."

Adam stands.

"Well actually, taht's not true" He says "Some are from changelings"

Bachdion notices his oh.

"Yes, I remember how some Fae can make their own Glamour."

"I feel like there's something in that 'oh'?"

"No, I mean.... no. These are made by Dreamers, sources of Glamour. Right?"

"PEople... they're.. wonderful amazing people. " he smiles

"Yeah." Adam agrees.

"It's easy for some of us to think of dreamers as fuel tanks, but ... they're more than the glamour they put out. They're..well, they are our partners in making the world a more magical place"

"They're people."

"They are, and we changelings are people too. I know Liams give you a weird feeling, but... give the house credit, out of all the Houses, they remember that best."

"Yes, Sir. I'll remember."

"More of us need to" He admits "You like the dragon and knight fighting one eh?"

"I do, Sir. I like the action, I want to ... to.... take it apart? I mean, just, understand it. Who's winning, who's losing....."

"Mmm I can see why. " he nods looking, the dragon is rearing up it's head even as it's claws are deflected by the knight's shield. The Knight's sword is lining up with a slash to the belly but that hasn't landed yet. "Who do you think is winning?"

Adam ducks back down, looking under.... emerges and examines the knights posture and address to the foe.... takes a walk around the stature..... turns to Bachdion "The viewer."

A laugh, but not a mocking one "I like that answer. "

Another shrug. "Seriously, no matter who wins the fight we're looking at, we all win LOOKING AT the fight."

"Like... in a good game? If you win, or lose, and the team did well? The fans enjoyed it? It's a win. Kinda."

"Uh. No, I mean.... like, literally. For real. I think it works that way."

"Maybe not. Sorry."
