And the texting over, Adam realizes he's ..hungry.

Well, there's a way to fix that! He heads in search of food.

the dining hall seems bustling, looks like a lot of folks have the hunger. Kylie and Zing are talking in one corner. Tylar is with Velvet in a farther corner. Rollo and Oswald are talking at at nother spot

The girls get a smile and a nod. He gives Tylar a head-tip, and Velvet a nod. The Thanes get nods as well as he gets in line (or sits down, or whatever).

Oh food is brought to them. One boggan comes out "Hello, Adam, what would you like? We have baked pasta or venison burgers but we can make something else , it would just take longer"

"Oh man.... could I get both?" asks the growing boy.

"two full servings?" the woman asks surprised

"Maybe.... a burger and a half serving of pasta?" hopefully.

"Oh why not" She laughs "You may have a drop of redcap blood in you" And she hurries off to get him his food

"Ido -not-." he mutters. Looks around some more.

His choicee of seats ,not like anyone is closing him off

No sign of Alanza though

Well, at least I'm ready for her to tell me stories.

He grins at the thought and moseys over to Tylar. "Hey."

Tylar is with Velvet, but with a glance to her, she nods, and he says "Hey, Adam. How are lessons?"

Velvt greets him wordlessly

They're younger than Adam, but they are mature beyond their age

"Yeah, you know. I like the lessons here better than school. You guys?" he includes Velvet.

"oh I am quite well," Velvet says "I've been learning new cantrips."

tylar nods "Doing okay. the schol's not that bad. They're knocking themselves out. Is itt true you found Trask's sister?"

"Yeah. That's the hard part, for me."he responds to Velvet, then nods. "Trask and I found her, really."

Velvet says "odd. Most of us have at least one type of cantrip that goes naturally to us"

"Yeah. Well."

he shrugs.

And food is brought up to Adam and set by him "There you go, One full burger and a half serving of baked pasta"

"Thanks!" Adam is standing, and turns back to Tylar and Velvet. "I didn't want to horn in on your meal, just say hi." he picks up his plate(s) "Talk to you later."

"Actually, Adam," Velvet says "if you have a moment, I was going to ask you for something"

"Sure. Shoot."

"Could I have a bit of your hair and some of your blood?" She says

She seems serious

"Uuuhhh..... sorry, I have to pass. Kind of a hard rule for me. Nothing personal."

Then, "Why do you want it?" curious.
