He takes it, and rises. "Veronica, I'm glad you're here, and I'd like to speak with you again, if I may?"

"Of course, Baron." She says

"Excellent, thank you." he pauses "Will you give my best to Zara when you see her, please?"

"Depends, if your best is worth giving?"

He stays, and a sad expression crosses his face. "Yes. I suppose it does."

"I look forward to speaking with you again, Miss Veronica." and he takes the cups away.

She notices the sad expression "I .. I apologize that was meant as a play on words a bit of.. humor"

"Please, Baron. I didn't mean to be cruel if that's how I came across. It was teasing...yes, but I didn't think it would hurt"

"No offence taken, Miss Veronica." gently and sincerely.

She looks relieved a that, "Good. Way too soon to burn bridges"
