Dumas gets the exercise

And sure enough he sees Leonora jogging with Alanza.

They've got nice outfits on

He lifts a hand in greeting.

"Hi, Adam!" Leo waves

"Hello, Adam!" Alanzza does "Did you hear about the new fledges?"

"No?"

The girls slow to share the info . Leonora says "Vince found not one, but TWO new changelings. At a sorority party "

"Oooooh...." as if in realization. "Way to go, man!"

"Men are such dogs" Alanza says but fondly

"Don't say that too loud, you'll hurt Vince's feelings. Yes, Adam, a nocker named Kylie and a Pooka, I think she's going by Zing but i've heard other names"

"Huh. Cool."

"She's some soft of.. oh I forget the type of cat.. it's not a domestic" Leo says

"Asian Leopard Cat," Alanza helps out "They're a lot like domesticated ones but still wild. Now I think she's lovely, but I've always wondered what a bobcat pooka would look like"

"Seems like there's a lot of that here."

"Cat pookas that is."

"Well, there's Vince, Isis.. not sure who else we have?"

"Poor Henri IS going to feel out numbered though"

"Hey, Alanza, are you still interested in going dancing with Nab and me?"

"No, you're just another notch in my bedpost now, Adam" She says straight faced, then laughs "Sure"

He rolls his eyes good naturedly but laughs too. "Cool. Let's set something up."

"wait, did you two.." Leonora looks VERY intrigued "Did you two do the Samhain Salami?"

Adam grins. "Sorry, Dame. I don't put people in blast."

THAT gets him a kiss, on the cheek from Leonora "Your test is passed, young Fiona. Other tests await"

"Yeah, I know." He sighs. "But thanks." He doesn't seem particularly happy about that, nor stricken by her kiss.

"Awww" Alanza gives him a kiss on the lips , then parts "Better?"

"Mmm.... yeah. A little."another grin.

"Good. Leonora and I are about to go shopping. YOu can join us if you want, but we have to shower first. All jogged up"

"Join you in the shower, or the shopping?" with a rakeish grin.

"He's an optimist, " Leonora chuckles "Shopping"

The boy chuckles. "Don't have a choice, Dame. Thanks for the offer, but I'll take a rain check if I can? You guys have a great time though."

"Okay" Alanza says and kisses him this time on the cheek "Try not to get into TOO much trouble"

"Look who's talking!:

"Double standards are okay when they work in my favor" Alanza says

"I tried that on Dame Claire once" Leonora says "She did not agree"

"Alanza, let me know when you have a free night, ok?"

"Sure!" She says

"Alright. Enjoy your shower, I'll be thinking of you."

"And I'll be thinking of Prince.. my Showerhead keeps singing Purple Rain" And off the ladies go

That's a little puzzling but..... Adam continues his Dumas walk.

His good mood mellows, and even sours slightly, as he falls into introspection. Left, right, left, right....................

"There goes the Adam with a scowl aforming, I wonder what's eating at him today? He's a likable enough lad, except when he's been bad. Which only happens every other dayy..." Shalimar rides by on a unicycle singing

Adam ignores him.

"Smart move, hoss. Do not feed the skunk" Rollo, Thane and boggan observes

"Yeah. Jerk."

"Mostly he's a jerk because he observes where you're screwing up and points it out, part of his job. How you doing kid?"

"He does -not-. And life sucks. How're you doing?"

"Life sucks, shit happens. I hold it together anyway"

"I mean, it's the wimps that fold right?"
