the images shift.. for that was only one possiblity...

the river is dead..commercialized, industrialized... banal. Shops are not put here for a display of art, but to make money on cheap tacky tawdry products built on child labor in far off lands. The factory by the side of the water violates the laws of the EPA but who is going to stop them?

Zara hisses softly.

"Another thing to prevent..." The seer says "Mark it down apprentice... "

"You said even writing might shift?" Minerva does

"Yes, to riddles, or ink faded, but every little bit helps" The Seer grins

"Write down also the return of the Rusalka .. how I do not know, but if they are returned, it is a glorious return to sluagh kin we thought lost forever. But perhaps nothing really stays dead?" Demona insists

Another image...a Fiona Lord, standing tall and proud... and yet weeping as he cluthes at his shoulder as if searching for something precious that was there but a moment ago

"He looks familiar" Minerva says

Minerva blinks, ehr eeyes widen

And the image shifts again...

A lion carries a cub in its jaws

and looks perplexed when he wakes up next to it by dawn

And the images start to fade... a few swirling fragments, but not clear enough.. save for the image of a burning sword
