"But this?" She pokes his stomach, then shakes her head. "Hippolyta herself couldn't fix with a gallon of hot cocoa."

"Well, this is becoming a family therapy session but so be it" She says lowly, then "Yes, Adam. We were to mentor you here as usal, and during the day you'd have the education we couldnt'; give you. I was not lying when I said I wanted you to make a good impression at the farm so future relations would be better, and you are a social fellow"

"GrandDame, I was getting that education, online! You know that!. Did you know I visited that farm once before? I did, before I moved here. They didn't like me being there then, and they don't really like it now, and I don't like being there. Why? What can they give me there I can't get here and online??"

Emma quietly scoots back, out of the way.

"Adam, your online grades were not that good, and you were bored with it." she says "And you can't run away every time folks don't like you on sight."

Grand Dame Bondraste notices Emma scoot back "Healer, I apologize. I hadn't realized this was something that would require a family counselor type. We'll leave your hut." She lays some dross down. "Please, use this to heal the next patient with an injury"

"Adam, you do know if you're going to be a sidhe you can't always do what you want to do, yes?" The Grand Dame says

"Feels like a big 'if', GrandDame, but yes. I know."

"I have had tea with sluagh and quite enjoy it. I've also had dinner with them, not so enjoyable. I was in a redcap biker bar where every idiot with teeth bigger than their braincells decided they had to hit on me one way or the other. Normally I would have challenged them to duels but we needed their help so instead I broke a skull or two and got them to listen so we could stop the threat together. Pooka can't use magic to prank us, but we are as subject to dribble glasses and whoopiee cushions and worse as anyone. Actually I think I resented the dribble glass more only because it was a VERY rare wine" A sigh "You can't always take your ball and go home in a huff "
