A laugh "Gee, thanks"

"No problem!" Adam laughs and punches him (a little)

And the boggan takes it

"You're.... ok."

"Yeah.. " He says "Rollo hits the shoulder plenty hard"

"Nah, I mean you're ok, my man."

"Oh, thanks. I try to be" He admits

"Seriously, a priest? Wait, one of the ones that can get married?"

"Nope. The no marriage no sex EVER kind"

"Shit." Adam is exhausted.

"It's ah.. quite a difficult concept for many at a Fiona hold to grasp" He says politely

and blushes

"No -sex-??"

"Ahem, from what I understand, not even Self service"

The boggan is very much blushing

"Fuck no!" Adam is stunned.

"Fuck yes" He nods

"I mean, there might even be a few virgins your age in this hold." He shrugs "You never know"

BLINK. "Say what?"

"Uhm" Blood red "Just that not everyone is as experenced as yourself I'm sure"

"Man.... you.....?"

"I..want it to be special ... don't want to pressure Velvet" BLOOD red

"She's..innocent, and sweet, and girls don't.. want it like we do.. it's got to be romantic"

"Yeah."

"You're 100% right. You better take care of that."

"Ah.. uhm.. take care of it?"

"My man.... You take care of her. Whatever she wants. Ok?"

"Oh" Relief "yes yes. "

"And yeah, romance is important. For everyone."

"Yeah" he nods more easily now "I want our first time, if.. if it comes to that to be... I don't want her to ever regret it"

And the two guys talk about important shit... and Tylar helps Adam pass the hours or so sparring or talking and.. not worrying about an Eshu while keeping time.

Zara notices a LOT of buzz about her alter ego. One shouldn't be TOO proud but...

well, she never expected every fiona to be praising her work!

And a few non Fiona as well

Zara sips her tea, quietly thrilled about her Secret.

Speaking of the former, however.... there's a knocking at the frame of the open door on the library. "Miss Zara?" Coradel calls in quietly...with a slight smile in her tone.

And all the fuss makes it a BETTER Secret.

"Aye, Coradel?"

"Ah, there you are...sometimes it's hard to spot you in the shadows, even when you don't intend it. May I?" She indicates an empty chair near where Zara is sitting. Odd...normally she'd just assume the seat was for her.

Zara nods. "Of course. Would you care for some tea? I do have fresh cream, for guests..."

"Tea would be lovely, thank you."

Zara prepares a cup. Bronte lifts her head to sniff at the Fiona - just in case there's a new book. The numbered ladies have a few visible webs, catching the light like tiny rhinestones.

She watches as Zara prepares it. "I imagine..." she says eventually "...that you've heard about the book that is so popular just now. The Talia Amur." She reaches out a hand for Bronte's approval before trying to touch a wing gently.

"Oh, aye. I had gotten a copy in. It seems to be a bit... what is the phrase? Viral?"

A slow smile. "That's a way to put it. It took me some time to locate a copy myself. I finally managed to pry one from the Seer. Very kind of him...he hadn't even had a chance to read it himself, yet."

"Well! I would say that is fortunate... Jeanette has the library's copy. While I would be willing to put you at the top of the waiting list, I would be loathe to command the book back ere tis due..."

"No need. No, none at all. I fairly devoured it in a day, and then revisited certain... inspiring scenes a time or two." She accepts the tea when served and sips appreciatively. That smile never quite leaves her lips. "And you're familiar with its contents, certainly?"
