"Your mom would be glad to hear you say that." Bachdion says, then looks to Jack "how are her lessons coming along?"

"Brenda? She's taking to some of it pretty well..." Jack shrugs "Wayburtons got her on a good start on satyr lore"

"Cool."

"Oh yes... she's taking to arts herself"

"Magic is part of who we are yeah" Jack nods

"You guys..... you're not, like, -talkin- about my mom, right?"

They blink "What, about the cantrips she's learning?" Jack says confused "Why wouldn't we talk about that? Everyone has their talents but you have to work at them."

"No, cantrips are ok." Adam settles.

"Ah. "S ir Bachdion looks at Jack "I think he believes we might be so crass as to discuss his mother in an.. amorous way."

"Well, you'd never do that," Jack says "But I might try just to rile the kid .." A grin "Nah. It's okay, Adam. We're not dicks and one advantage to grumphood is your brain gets a CHANCE to engage before your mouth does"

"Look, her business is her own but I don't need to hear it." Adam offers his glass for a refresh.

Refreshed "I hear that" Jack says "Satyrs are more open about shit , but even we really don't want to know about our lady relations except 'is she happy? good. shaddup'"

Sir Bachdion grins at that "Exactly."

"Hell yeah. "Adam toasts the gents.

"Now your dad, who also is rather cute" Jack says "Has been helping with some legal case. Didn't know they hired advertisers but I'm getting it's on the marketing side."

"Uh... dad? Cute?" Obviously not something he EVER considered.

"Most satyrs , not all, go both ways... to a degree. " Jack advises "Some are like 70% one side over the other but only a few aren't at least a bit bi... them that aren't have hang ups..."

"BY satyr standards" Bachdion assures

He nods. "Zane is kinda like that."

"Zane's doing pretty well when he visits here" Amused look by Jack

"Mostly he's trying to master magic... MOSTLY" Bachdion chuckles "yes, the Wayburtons are a fine Satyr clan"

"Zane's my bro."

"Huh, if it werent' for your unique situation I'd wonder if you and he shared past lives. But that's not possible so..." Jack ponders "Guess sometimes Bros happen"

"Why wouldn't they?"

Adam offers his glass for a fill-up.

"How about I switch you to soda " And he reaches for Adam's prefered soda

A sigh. "Ok." But he doesn't -love- it.
