"Do..folks know you're sisters?" Siv adds "Occurs to me I'm a bit free with that"

"I have not hidden the knowledge, per se..."

"Aye, but still if you prefer... then I should keep sluagh privacy in mind"

"I am very fond of her. She is the most mannerly pooka I know."

"She's very elegant. Mind you, I told her the other day she looked a bit sickly and she smiled as if I had just paid her the biggest compliment"

"Aye?"

"I may be a bad influence..."

"I'm sure she was innocence personified before you and shallimar got to her" Wry

A soft chuff.

"Oh... I have news from home. " She sips the tea, "Did I mention Anne Marie's kidnapping?"

Eyebrow.

"I'll assume that's sluagh for either you already know, or no I did not. Jonas told me about it... and he gives a lot of praise to Symon, Dirk, and Zane"

"As he ought."

"Indeed... turns out Zane of all folks found out, organized, and played wizard to their barbarian and rogue ... Once Jonas got out he got some licks in..." She relates the tale to let Zara know of Symon's skills. The boy is fierce about his step mother. Family, whether he admits it or not, matters

She nods - but then, Zara knows family.

Siv would be a terrible sluagh. She tells too much too freely, and has to actively try not to monopollize the conversation, but once Zara hints she would like to speak she DOES wait her turn, and that shows that her parents taught her manners

Zara does not seem to mind Siv's conversational tendancies - she might even encourage them, collecting easy news on both Earth RUnes and Rivervale.

She hears about her kith sister, Lily. And exploits of Sylvi "Helping torando victims though I don't know much about that. If I had thought of it I'd have gone to help" Guilty look

A gentle shrug. "We cannot be everything to everyone, Siv. Nor does it mean you may not yet lend aid, if you wished."

"I suppose. I feel like my parents gave me up here for what they felt was the best for me.. and if I leave here now, even to go elsehwere, I'm...betraying their judgement and their trust?"

A sniff. "They deemed you able to forge your own path, nu? What of your judgement and trust?"

"I guess.." She says "And they'd certainly not object normally to me helping folks. Tis a familiy tradition"

"You wish to be a Lion - fearless, bold. Yet you worry so much of what others think..."

Siv gives a sour look at that "Some might say I'm worrying too much of what a friend things right now, but.. I DID ask."

"I think you are hard on yourself, that you cannot be all things."

"And am I alone in that? " A brow "I think ye do it a bit yourself"

"Truth." She agrees.

"Which boggles my mind, because YOU are such an amazing adventeress. Let's see... librarian, witch, dueler of dragons, friend to dragons, advisor to nobility and humbler of same. Lore thief and wisdom saver, and traveler unsung."

"Ah, would any sluagh wish to be 'sung'?"

The door opens and closes, softly.

"Oh now, you can't tell me you don't enjoy a bit of soft music in minor key?"

The spiders alert zara to the door

Zara rises. "Oh, I enjoy music. But I am not a song. I am a whisper."

"maybe you're a gregorian chant?" Siv counters "A quiet one"

The Oathbroken one steps forward, cautiously. He stops, looks.

"Baron."

"Baron, " siv smiles and rises to bow "Please, join us"

"B... hello. Sorry. Hello, ladies." He bows.....well, deeply.

"Seek you aught?"

He pauses where he is. "No. I did not mean to disturb. Should I go?"

"No, " siv says "I was just chatting with..well, actually, some of the subjects involved your own exploits too."

"You did not disturb."

"I can go." He offers.

"Tis true that you teamed up with Caesar to stop a hydra rampage and an evil ravager, yes? The three of you?"

Siv moves to the baron, and guides him by the shoulders, to take a seat as she asks

August shifts to walk independently. "We did." He pauses at the seat..... glances.

"The hydra was an innocent."

Siv pulls out the chair for him, "Well, between the two of you I figure I'll get a proper story. Please"
