August does not seem to know how to feel about Vashti's hands oiling up his skin. "I.... I am not usually this... ah, showy. But.... there is the mask, at least?"

"Indeed" She pulls out two, one more Venetian style, the other a half mask not unlike the man in black from Princess Bride

Vashti, perhaps inspired by a muse from beyond, pulls out THIS hat "Or this"

"Yes, this might be perfectly horried" She smiles delightedly

August seems relieved. Perhaps only because Vashti has stopped oiling him. "Yes, that will do nicely. Thank you. For all of it."

"You're most welcome, my lord. One last thing.." She hands him a pair of shears "Carry this in your boot. It may come a time you'll need it"

He takes it, confused. "Scissors?"

"For love's triumph " She nods

A serious frown. "Is someone planning to endanger Coradel?"

Vashti looks at him, "My lord, think me so callous as to put her in certain death and demise? And on a tuesday?" She taps the corner of his frown "Up up up... pirates are to jaunty be, for they are plunderers terrible"

He sighs and puts the sheets carefully in a boot. "Thank you, again."

And thus, properly outfitted, he departs.
