August shifts in the dressmakers antichamber.....

"Baron! you so seldom come to my dungeon." Wings a flutter

He clears his throat. "I, ah.... I need .... help. A costume."

"But, of course.. now, the theme will be by decree of the eternally dying one, a madri gras motiff. Shall I make a loin cloth of beads for you?"

"Please don't." Gently. "I thought I might go as a ..... Mardi Gras pirate? I.... "

"It doesn't have to be either, really, I just.... "

"A pirate? Mmm unheard of, outrageous... I have something" She says And moves to scoot out what looks to be ..wow, that's a lot of Buccaneer period outfits , "Mmm yes.. these "She throws him a pair of leather pants

He catches with his face. "Ah."

"Now, are we looking for.. mmm " She holds up two styles and looks them over, one a fine lace poet shirt of white, the other a top of blue and white stripes ... "Nay, " She throws the one with the blue and white horizontal strips "This.." She takes the lacy one "Or this?" One of red, less lace.

"Naturally, there will be only sackcloth and ashes over which ever you are stuck iwth" She gestures to coats of various sorts.

He pulls the pants off his face and looks. "Ah, yes. Are there... something....In the colors of the.... Holiday?"

"I just..... it's a Mardi Gras theme, I think?"

"Tis Madri gras, lord... the answer to 'what colors' is 'yes'"

"Then, ah...... Yes?"

Soon he is spun through many variations...

but in most of them, the pants are quite form fitting

And his head dizzies...............

"Red and Silver then, to shame your lady"

"No!"

"Are there... do you have any accounts,..... that one of my House might have........"

August suffers through......

"Mmm yes... maybe with a touch of ...yes" She beams! And gets something that looks like baby oil and begins rubbing it on his bare chest "let's see..."

only then does he realize it's.. got a bit of glitter in it. Just a bit in the oil

"Shiny pecky" She says

"Yeee... Nnnnn.... Excuse me....."

"Just...........Mardi Gras. without pancakes."
