Having told the Baroness her tale, then gone to shower, clean up, and sleep.

But in the morning, she stretches, washes up, and heads out to do her morning excercises

Mackerel is grumpy about the move, but happy to have Siv again. She devours her cat food because, until now, she had been starving

"Qrrierrp?"

Curiosity!

Mackerel eyes the intruder (nevermind who lived here first) and tries to look juust a bit bigger

Curiosity flops over, and squeaks.

Well, that's better. Can't show too much interest. Mackrel licks her paws

her own paws

Then she looks up from her paw to see if the intruder is still there

"Mmrrrew?" She stretches out one paw, endearingly.

Mackerel crouches down, tucks her tail in along her body, and take a second to observe the Curiosity.

"Mroop"

the tail slowly unwinds, and Mack rises, her tail crooks forward, but only a bit, can't be TOO friendly. Still, she licks her lips, looks to the side, and yawns, also moving forward a bit

Curiosity rolls to a crouch, butt wriggling.

Mackerel lunges forward, pouncing on the little cat, paws without claws for a quick counting coup, and then she bounds back.

Curiosity tumbles playfully, then bounds back up for her own pounce!

Well, gadzooks, this may take focus! Mackerel is a mighty mouser!

She is a dyed in the fur KILLER...

so.. pounce and play back!

Oooo, is this pounce and CHASE?

Indeed! Tag... and run down the halls

Elsewhere, Siv is getting her ass kicked.

"Acrobatics may win points at the olympics for gymanstics," Claire boots the girl's mid section, "But it gets you nothing..." The Ailil descends "In the score of pass fail" And puts her sword to the girl's chest as she tries to catch her breath.

Siv heaves, "You.. you cheated. "

"Did I?" Claire says

"Sword practice" she said.

"No, I asked you if you wanted to practice with a sword. " The Ailil says "Then, when you said yes. I said okay. Step in in the ring if you want a fight. You stepped in. You got one"

Siv says "I...see your point. Litterally"

"Your body is a weapon, Captain." Coradel arrived at some point during that, and is leaning lazily against a door frame. "Don't be surprised that your opponent has one, too."

"If I'd known I could kick or punch I'd have head butted her," Siv says

"Don't tell me that," Claire says.

"Why? Is it rude?" Siv blinks

"No, we might fight again. Do not give away your plans to the enemy," Claire says "And, I'm your enemy stand in."

"Now you'll have to hit her with something else."

Siv says "I'll go get my car"

Claire actually smirks at that

"And I'm not sure where you got the notion that you 'could' or 'could not' do certain things when fighting." The baroness looks bemused.

"Ha! Indeed!"

"Gwydion mother, very honorable, not saying she won't fight with al lshe's got to safe lives, but in a duel she's..well, let's say she's more ...respectful of the guidelines." Siv gets a hand up from Claire "Thanks." A bit cautious around the Ailil

"Gwydion explains it" Claire says "Damn good warriors, but they tend to handicap themselves at times."

"Pfft. Gwydions." Is that a note of pity?

"Hey," Siv says "Some of them are fine people. And with their rage, they take percautions, for the sake of others. My mother does anyway" Siv says "She's still the greatest warrior in..well.. I won't ride her coat tails, but let's just say while being a falcon isn't for me, I know enough to respect their prowess.. " A look at Clare "Wait, YOU, an Ailil, are praising them, while the Baroness, A Seelie Fiona is acting ..sad for them? Is this a good cop bad cop thing?"

A wink to Claire. "She may be onto us."

"I told you me being the good cop would never be believable" Claire says

"At any rate, Captain, much as Dame Claire said, despite all of their honorable qualities, Gwydions often do tend to get in their own ways."

Siv wrinkles her nose, clearly torn by things, then says "I suppose they might. But are you just talking about fighting then? I thought Fiona also value honor, just less than love? Least most of the house which is Seelie?"
